“Good room. Good value.”

Great shower. Great pillows. All around a great night sleep. Best hotel we have had in a while, and we've been booking 3 star rooms. This hotel definitely tops all the hotels we've stayed at in ky thus far.

I've stayed at this hotel in the past, and can remember it being nothing special...that is now changing. They are now renovating, and it's coming along well. The room I stayed in had no funny smells (on a third floor, which is the smoking floor), and new-looking modern furnishings, chair, etc. The only exception was the television; small and outdated. The rooms are small, as are all Sleep Inns, but didn't feel claustraphobic like a Microtel. I'd stay here again for a night or two. Breakfast was very basic/minimal, but McDonald's is right next door.

  • Liked — Close to I-64 and restaurants.
  • Disliked — T.V. was small and outdated.

We stayed one night in this hotel as part of a wedding group, and will never stay here again! The staff was extremely nice, but this does not make up for level of filth we experienced. The room smelled of mold and was not clean. The mold smell came from the mold on every wall in the room (see photos). The cleaning staff obviously did not clean after the last guest (see photos, of some else’s socks and change on the floor). When I called to ask for another room we were told they were totally booked. As we were part of a large group, we chose to stay, but will never again. (Just FYI we were not alone in this experience, others in our party also had less than clean rooms.)
one last note- we left our daughter's favorite stuffed animal in the room when we checked out, they were very nice and held it at the front desk till we drove back through Louisville, a few days later.

  • Liked — The staff was very nice
  • Disliked — the very dirty room

Location - tucked away behind McDonald's off of Hurstbourne (I-64 exit 17). Great location with mutiple chain restaurants and non chain restaurants. Also lots of hotels/motels at this exit to choose from. Close to I-64 exit 15 (next exit) also lots of choices to eat & shop. We ended up here after driving by a couple of different ones. Felt safe in the neighborhood.

Price - $49.99 plus tax ends up almost $60.00
Best rate - coupon in the motel coupon booklets that you get in the travelers' rest stops. Motel Age ? 3 story. parking on both sides of bldg..
Room - Rm 114 - ok size. 2 full size beds. Dents on certain parts of the bed, so slept on 1 side more for comfort. Soft mattress. Great sheets with elastic corners that stay tucked on the mattress, instead of the standard flat ones that most have. Desk with laptop plug in. Shower. no tub. mold/mildrew on all the surrounding caulk. Drain ok. Wore my flipflops. The unit clean enough but some fiberglass dents. The door is a pull style so hard to close and open. Toilet & shower together. Sink outside. Hairdryer. Iron and board. A/C And heat efficient. Loud but liveable. Room relatively clean but worn. Rm safe. coffee maker. Breakfast - did not partake by choice. Went to the neighborhood wafflehouse for a full breakfast instead.
In a pinch - would stay here for the price.

  • Liked — location & price
  • Disliked — would have prefered higher floor so as not to hear the floor traffic, as they were very empty that night.

Stayed at the Sleep Inn for one night and it was one of the nicer budget conscious hotels that we've stayed at. HUGE, comfy king bed. Clean and quiet. The shower was a nice sized shower stall and not a tub.

Would stay here again as we go back to Louisville quite often!
