The geology of the Malvern hills explained in a readily accessible way. Interactive and static displays. Certainly worth a visit for the enquiring mind.

Thanks for your review! We have just added some fossils in display cases and for sale which help illustrate some of the geological information on the walls and iPads.

A short walk down from the Wyche Cutting, the Geocentre gives the visitor a real feel for the Malvern Hills, the Geopark Way and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with informative wall maps, iPads with interactive content about everything you'll ever want to know about the Malvern Hills, and a vast video wall which was showing the flora and fauna to be found on the hills and their surroundings.

The centre enjoys excellent views of Herefordshire, has loads of off-road car parking and is light, clean and airy. The staff were very welcoming and the cafe offers excellent fare so we had our lunch while playing on the iPads . . . hope we didn't get too many sticky fingers on them . . . and that was just us adults!!

I will be going there again . . . and again . . .

The GeoCentre has a good, level car park with views towards Wales, and a ramp into the display area. There are interesting and informative wall displays, and the iPads are easy to use, especially for someone like me who has no experience with them. There is a huge amount of information available about the Malvern Hills and the Geopark in an easy-to-read format, plus links to other relevant sites. The shop has a good range of affordable merchandise, and the food from the cafe is excellent - you can eat while you sit at the tables and watch the video wall. There are several walks within easy reach of the GeoCentre for the more energetically inclined, and the printed guides to go with them. We had a very enjoyable visit.
