This was our third stop and was the best bed and breakfast we stayed at during several American holidays. It is a beautiful ranch style house in extensive immaculately maintained grounds. There is a heated pool and hot tub, games room and cinema room.
Cheryl was the perfect hostess. All in all a wonderful experience and we would love to revisit. Very highly recommended.

We had a wonderful and relaxing couple of days at this beautiful home. We met a fabulous couple from Canada during our stay, we enjoyed talking over an amazing breakfast all prepared by our gracious host who by the way has a lot of grit and the uncanny ability to know the perfect place for you to visit, eat,or shop. Each day we enjoyed these out of this world cookies that I am craving right now.
Make sure to visit the Little big Horse Riding and check out Lisa and Garnet's wonderful set up- Tell Garnet he needs to be selling those woodcarvings.
At The Bluegrass Country Estate we slept like we had no children, relaxed like we had rich parents and floated on rafts in the pool as if time just did not matter. I am so glad we took a couple days to ourselves- Thanks Cheryl... so much

Room Tip: We loved staying during the week since it was not crowded and it felt like we had the place to ourse...

We drove down from PA and our son & daughter-in-law drove up from FL so we could have our Christmas together. What a wonderful time we had and that had a lot to do with the atmosphere we found at the Bluegrass Estate. Our hostess, Cheryl, was fantastic, even with her recouping from her surgery she was able to make our time perfect! This was a much needed get together for us. Our son had found this B & B checking on the internet as we didn't want to stay in a hotel for our visit. The house was beautifully decorated and we had a Christmas tree in our room to celebrate our Christmas. The beautiful decorations throughout the home were fantastic and we were always seeing something new everywhere we looked. Cheryl suggested two places for dinner when we were there and they were both great! It was an emotional time for us all and God blessed us finding Bluegrass Estate for our special time together that won't ever be forgotten!!

We were looking for a slower-paced getaway than we've had on our last few vacations, and found the Bluegrass Country Estate B&B, 20 minutes outside of Louisville, KY, in the beautiful rolling hills of horse country. Although we did make a couple trips into the city to see the beautiful architecture of Old Louisville, as well as to visit the art museums, and eat at restaurants we found on Urbanspoon.com (don't miss Sweet Surrender), we were perfectly happy to stay at the inn and enjoy the amenities there. They have an in-ground, heated pool with crystal clear water with no noticeable scent of chlorine, a large hot tub, a regulation-size pool table, a theater room with a 100+-inch screen, 6 leather recliners & a popcorn machine, in addition to a well-equipped exercise room with loads of machines. We had the best night's sleep on the king-sized mattress in our lower-level room, and woke to Cheryl, the innkeeper's, luscious, gourmet breakfasts, with fresh fruit, baked goods, something hot out of the oven or off the griddle, meats, juices, and coffee, as well as fresh flowers on the table. The inn isn't cram-packed with ruffles & lace, as some inns we've visited have been. It is very tastefully decorated in a French-country scheme, which suits the architecture of the house beautifully. The grounds are lovely, and there is a small stable at the back where she keeps her two horses, with room to board more if you bring yours along. We had a lovely time, and are already planning a return trip. It would make a great place to have a girlfriends' or couples' retreat, as well as a romantic getaway for two. Go! You will not regret it.

Room Tip: We went during the week and had the entire inn to ourselves. Our room was on the lower level, which...

This is a beautiful B & B. We had such a great experience. The rooms are lovely. The food was delicious. We could swim, jacuzzi, work out, watch a movie, (in the home theater, with popcorn), and go to visit the nice horses, in the cleanest barn ever. We will be back!
