Highly recommend this place!
My boyfriend and I took a little one night getaway. While we only live just down the road in Lexington we were thrilled to get out and away from the usual weekend activities. This was our first B&B experience as well- and we are converted! We had an amazing experience. The house is great, our king front room was huge, well decorated, and very comfortable. Ron and Marlene are fantastic hosts, the food was delicious (loved the special attention that was paid to special requests), and the location is within a short drive of great attractions. We spent our time hitting up bourbon distilleries and heading to Versailles (15min away) for a fantastic dinner as recommended by our hosts. We can't wait to go back for another backyard getaway!

Room Tip: The front king room was spacious with an extra sitting room with one chair, a small eat in area, and...

We spent one wonderful night at Ron and Marlene's fabulous b&b. Their welcome was so warm into their beautiful home, we feel very lucky that we booked here. The rooms were exquisite, spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable and tastefully decorated. They really took care of all the small touches too, such as offering us a glass of wine / local beer on arrival, delicious sweet treats to be enjoyed in the evening, and a total feeling of calm. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. The location is brilliant for exploring the bourbon trail, and there are numerous restaurants around which they'll happily advise you on. Thank you Ron and Marlene for such a great stay in your home... we very much hope to be back.

Anyone thinking about opening a B&B should spend some time with Ron and Marlene for they have done it perfectly. Beautiful home, lovingly restored and decorated and with all the amenities you could want. Breakfast really was four full courses! And there is a snack room, wine and cheese at 5 and dessert at 8. Can't ask for any more than that. Perfect location in the middle of the Bourbon Trail Distilleries. My friends and I agreed this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in and it is reasonably price, too.

Room Tip: If you have a group, there is an extra large room with couches, dining table and king bed.

We spent two nights here while enjoying the Bourbon Trail and checking out Lexington and Frankfort. As others have said, Lawrenceburg is a good location for most of the distilleries and a short ride to Lexington and Frankfort. The inn has been remodeled, and is warm and inviting. The owners just love what they are doing, and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. In addition, Marlene is a wonderful cook serving grand breakfasts. There also is a wine and cheese hour and a dessert hour in the evening. What a treat! It was a very relaxing visit, and we enjoyed being spoiled. If you are in the area, give the Lawrenceburg B&B a try. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed at the Lawrenceburg B&B for just one night last weekend, but it was the best experience! The rooms were so nicely kept and we could not have asked for better hosts! They were so accomodating and helpful. They gave great recommendations for attractions and restaurants near by. This was our first stay at a B&B and we will be returning soon! Awesome choice for a B&B!

We were blessed to stay one night @ the Lawrenceburg B&B when our son and daughter-in-law were unable to use a Christmas gift from 2012. What a joy! The house is so beautiful and the room we stayed in had every amenity that could ever be thought of, down to a lovely table and chairs to use to enjoy the most delicious pastry treat before bed. The bed was of so comfy and everything was perfect. Ron and Marlene are gracious hosts and the food was beyond great! How could we ask for a better "home away from home"? We will be back and will continue to encourage others to stay in this amazing place.

Room Tip: There are 2 rooms and both beautiful. The front room is very cozy and has an additional sitting room...
