“Okay Tour”
Reviewed 20 October 2009

We toured this home in June. The tour guide did a good job on giving the history of the family and the home and what it was like to live back during those times. The home itself is not very well maintained and is definately in need of some much needed repairs. Out of the homes we toured in the area, I would rank this on the bottom of the list. We toured the Mary Todd, Ashland and Waveland homes and those were much nicer to look and tour through. If you enjoy touring old homes, this one is okay but not great.

“Candlelight tour worth the time”
Reviewed 22 December 2003

My husband and I took the candlelight tour of the Hunt-Morgan house during a weekend stay in Lexington. The guide pretends that he is the ghost of the original owner - very neat. The waiting room for the tour had refreshments, coffee, tea, cookies, etc., and the tour itself lasted about hour. Worth the price. Took the time to answer all questions and requests, even if it required going back to different rooms and turning on the lights so specific things could be seen better. Tour ran by a group of people that obviously love this old house and it's history. Definitely a must see for anyone interested in old historical homes.
