We found this place on vacation last year and had to stop again this year! The candies, chocolates and fudge are great.. Everything from chocolate covered potato chips to chocolate covered fruit and everything in between.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2013 via mobile

Old Kentucky chocolates was a delectable quaint place to get the best souvenirs and delicious chocolates. The employees were polite and knew the best places to go and things to do for touring Kentucky. If you're heading into Lexington make sure to stop at old Kentucky chocolates to satisfy your tastebuds.

“MAKE time for this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2013 via mobile

The tours are Monday through Thursday at 10:00AM & 2:00PM. MAKE the time to go here in time to take the tour! It's fun, interesting and oh sooooo delish!

The only tough part of the whole experience is deciding what to sample & buy NOW, vs. what to order and have sent to you.

Grab the brochure, bookmark the website! You'll be renown for the wonderful gifts you give when you order from Old Kentucky Chocolates.

(Don't forget to give yourself a box of chocolates as your own reward for being such a great gift-giver...)

“If it can be made of chocolate, they have it.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 January 2013

My favorite is the chocolate covered grapes. If you are a UK sports fan, you'll be amazed at the memorabilia they have, chocolate and otherwise. They do kitchen tours but call in advance. This place is a great "go to" place whenever you can't think of just the right gift for someone. And if you are a visitor, what better souvenir than some bourbon chocolates. Though they might not make it hom.

“A hidden gem...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 November 2012

When you arrive, you'd never know that everything was made there! Almost everything is done by hand by people who have been working there for decades. It was a wonderful tour! Then you get to go to the sample bar which is absolutely fantastic. The mints are to die for! I highly recommend a stop here.
