Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to post your comments.
I am your stay was a pleasant one. I hope you were able to enjoy the breakfast before you had to be back on the road. There is nothing like your bed in your own home, but with a good night's sleep, I hope your long trip was more bearable.
Again, we appreciate your business and hope you will come back and stay with us on your next visit to Lexington.
Took over 30 minutes to check in because only one person working front desk. Couldn't connect to the internet, tv would not allow sound to come thru, no one came to fix it or move me rooms or anything. I've stayed here before but doubt I'll go back.
Please accept my apology for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay.
We schedule the front desk staff according the forecast for the following week and historical data we have on file. We were completely surprised by the volume of business on the night you stayed with us. Guy Monroe, who worked the front desk, told me how busy it was, and that he thought he didn't give the service our guests deserved.
Since your stay, we've reset the internet system and everything is working properly. The TV volume is a really easy fix and I am sorry that Guy did not tell you that over the phone. All that needs to be done is unplug the digital box and plug it back in and that fixes the volume. Time Warner Cable is aware of the problem with the digital boxes and working to resolve the problem.
Again, I am so sorry for the inconveniences you experienced. We certainly appreciate your business, and hope you understand that what you experienced was not the norm. I do hope that you will come back and stay with us again so that we can serve you in the manner that you deserve.
We had visited this motel on a previous occasion and felt very comfortable returning. to this location. Our normal route takes us ten miles north of this location, but it is well worth the extra drive to visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The check-in was quick and while professional was also very friendly.
Thank you so much for your kind comments.
"Where you want to be at the end of the day" is one of the nicest things any guests ever said about us. Your comment really shows that we are doing what we are supposed to do. We don't always get it right, but knowing that we have guests like you who are loyal to us makes our job worthwhile.
We so appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
Service was very good at this hotel. Front desk personnel was very helpful and caring. Food was good but drinks were watered down. Bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Coffee was not strong very weak, however the restaurant was clean.
Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to post your comments.
I am sorry about the weak drinks. I will review your comments with our bartenders. The drinks should be prepared according to standards and they shouldn't taste like they were "watered down".
We've changed our coffee company about two months ago because the orange juice provided by the previous company was awful. I will call the coffee company in the morning. I am thinking they need to adjust the water level.
Again, we appreciate your business. We hope to see you on your next visit to Lexington.
My husband and I stayed overnight on our way home from a trip to North Carolina. We chose the Best Western as the ratings were mostly positive and the rates were under $100, unlike many of the other highly rated hotels.
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, with a long line of other travelers including a group in town for a family reunion. It was hectic, and I was impressed with the way the staff handled the many requests with calm good humor. We were also very happy to find a room as we hadn't made a reservation.
Our room was near the pool (#171), and when we arrived there was a strong chlorine smell. But when we returned from supper we were grateful the smell had dissipated. We also could hear the conversations of people going to and from the pool, but it was quiet after the pool closed. If you need quiet earlier in the evening, it would be good to request a room away from the pool.
We appreciated all the hotel is doing to conserve energy. Our bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and attractive. It's obvious they are doing some upgrading. We did have some difficulty with the remote for the TV. We weren't able to change channels by entering the number on the remote; the only way to change channels was by scrolling through all the channels with the "channel up or down" button.
The hot breakfast was similar to hot breakfasts served in other hotels - makes the stay more economical, especially for families. I would've liked more fresh fruit options (I.e. Fresh fruit salad with cut up melon, pineapple, blueberries, etc.) since I usually eat only fruit for breakfast. But that's a small complaint. We appreciated that the staff kept the various breakfast items supplied, especially at the busy times.
Overall we had a pleasant stay and would come again.
Thank you so staying with us and taking the time to post your comments.
I am sorry about the chlorine smell and noise from the indoor pool area. With the room located in the indoor pool section, I am sure that there were a lot of noise until we closed the pool.
Thank you for your suggestion on the global soap program too. We are aware of this program and had many discussions about it. The only issue is that it is pretty expensive to participate in the program because we have to handle the shipping. I am hoping that the cost to participate in the program will be lowered soon because we would love to be a part of the program.
Again, we appreciate your business. We hope you will stay with us again on your next visit to Lexington.
This place was very busy, but the staff made certain that we felt welcomed after our long day. Guy at the front desk suggested a place in town where we could get a late night snack and even found a coupon for us to use! Our room was very nice and clean. The gal who was running the breakfast room was overworked, but managed to be very kind to all the guests. I would suggest there should be two attendants when the hotel is that busy! If I was traveling in this area again, I would certainly stay here again!
Thank you for your kind words for Guy and Nicole. When we are completely full, we have over 350 guests in the hotel and I know sometimes things just get crazy.
I am glad you liked the restaurant we recommended.
Even with two full time breakfast bar attendants, I know it gets really hectic during peak hours. We appreciate your understanding. I am sure Nicole will appreciate your comment.
Again, thank you for staying with us. We look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
