My husband and I had lunch midweek. We were greated at the door immediately as we entered. Very kind and warm welcome. The gentleman that took our order was very friendly and patient, My husband had the crawfish po'boy with potato salad. The crawfish was cooked perfect and was meaty. The remoulade sauce went very well with the po'boy The bread was soft and flavorful. The Potato salad was the best we ever tasted. I had the sprimp basket that came with fries, hushpuppies and cole slaw. The shrimp was real meaty and plump and cooked perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff, food and atmosphere and cant wait to return to try other items on the menu as well as those huge cookies that was visible in the glass display case. kudos!!

One of the coolest, most unique places I have ever been. This place has tremendous desserts, everything from po' boys to burgers and meatloaf sandwiches, and an assortment of local knick knacks and memoribilia, including local stable colors and riding jackets. Wonderfully tasty food, super friendly service from top to bottom, and a homey flair unlike any other.

Had dinner there tonight with my wife and two friends. My wife and I had Shrimp Étouffée while our friends had the Étouffée and the other a Shrimp Poorboy. All the meals were excellent and the company great as well.

Our complements to Chef John T for the excellent meals and the front of house staff, Chris and Nancy, for the great service and fun times we had. Kudos to the entire staff at Windy!!

My friend and I are visiting Lexington from England. The food here is fantastic. Loads of choice and healthy options too. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Casual vibe, great choice of food and lovely staff. I hope we get time to go back on our trip.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and we had to wait a little while for our food, but everything was delicious. It seems like it would be mostly country cooking, but the halibut had great flavor. It's a beautiful location and they have Kentucky Proud items for sale.
