Great to be back home! Rupp Arena shows well even after nearly 40 years.Looking forward to the proposal to make all of the upper arena seats box style (with backs).

“Must see”
Reviewed 11 December 2013

Everyone who loves basketball needs to make it a priority to watch a ballgame in this arena. So many legends have played in this building, it gives you chills just seeing the banners and jerseys hanging from the ceiling. Well worth the trip.

“Awesome”

The arena and KY Wildcats are awesome to see in person. If you're a fan of KY basketball or know someone else is, a ticket to one of the their games is always welcomed.

“Any event at Rupp will leave you wanting to come back”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

I've been to concerts, ball games, and taken in many events at Rupp arena. There is not a bad seat in the house. If your a Wildcat fan, you best bring your earplugs! The cheer and fan support is pleasantly deafening and overwhelming! Rupp arena is a top class facility, with all the amenities you could want. Besides the arena its self, there is a food court, shops and all sorts of family fun things to do. In the summertime if you visit, there are beautiful waterfalls flowing that children play in. Much history is help within this building and I am just proud to say I have visited and have been a part of it. I love Rupp arena and attend any event I can there. I highly recommend anyone visit, you will not be disappointed

“Great Basketball Venue”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

If you like college basketball, a game at Rupp is not to be missed. The experience that begins with team introductions is impossible to adequately explain. When UK plays a good opponent in Rupp, the electricity is incredible. I've never been in anyplace as loud or exciting as Rupp when a game is on the line.

On the "down" side, getting tickets is nearly impossible - particularly for high profile games.

If you're in the upper arena, the excitement level is still there, but you're a long way from the court. Getting from your seat to the aisle to buy food, etc. can be quite a challenge, too, because it's pretty cramped.

Rupp is also used for large concerts and shows of various types. It's quite a good venue for those, when they generally block off many of the 24,000 seats.
