What a great place to dine. We had a memorial service dinner for our friend who passed away last month in the private dining room in the basement. Very cool location. Excellent staff. Even the manager(maybe owner?) helped out with our large group. Food was wonderful. The bruschetta has this warm gorgonzola sauce under the grilled bread-wonderful! My osso buco was very good. Even provided a small fork to get the marrow out of the bone. My "only" issue was it was a little dry but combined with the sauce and marrow it was just fine. Also love the blue cheese(made in house-really? wow!) stuffed olives for my martini. Would return when ever we go back to Lexington. Thanks so much for a wonderful yet bitter sweet dining event!

“Pricey but tasty”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

The prices are on par for a high-end restaurant. The service was a bit snooty. The food was good, but not entirely on par with high-end quality. I recommend the apple and goat cheese salad. The veal marsala meatballs were good...if you like your meatballs of a squishier consistency.

“Excellent pasta dishes ... I highly recommend.”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

We had dinner here after attending Greek Sing at UK (an excellent event to attend). The restaurant has a very nice setting, with a quiet, intimate feel to it. We all had pasta dishes, with each of us being incredibly happy with our meal. I have the veal marsalla meatballs and pasta, which was an excellent meal. Very tender, very tasty and I would order this exact meal again and highly recommend it. Others in my family had the gnocchi as well as ravioli and they were both excellent as well. Overall, this restaurant deserves the high rating in trip advisor. The only down side is the price. The pasta dishes were around $25 each which was not too bad, but some of the other meals were closer to $35. Thus this is not a place I would go to every week, but it is an excellent high end restaurant.
