“FROZEN AND RUBBERY SEAFOOD... WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!”
Reviewed 14 March 2013

Seafood is FROZEN and RUBBERY.. Not at all the best Seafood. Overly priced for BAD food.. Filed a complaint and the manager didn't even acknowledge it. The decor was dark and outdated. The server we had was GREAT and probably the highlight of the night at this place

“Good steamed shrimp& crab bucket.”
Reviewed 9 December 2012 via mobile

Went on a Sunday afternoon about 12:20. Not very crowded then. We started with the fried banana peppers a ky specialty. Very good with a remoulade dipping sauce yummy. We could have drunk the sauce. Then came the bucket of seafood( crab & shrimp). They both were excellent. The hush puppies were sweet & not too heavy. The butter they give you to dip them in was a little sweet also. The only part I did not care for was the baked potato. It tasted like it was reheated from last night. Our waitress was very helpful & suggested good items. The other two with me ordered the crab cakes. Which they both loved. The dirty slaw is a must. No room for dessert. Maybe next time. For three of us no alcohol was $75.

“Brunch”
Reviewed 1 November 2012

Absolutely Fabulous!! I had the crabcake benedict, a perfect invention in my opinion. They have real potatoes and the bisquits and grave are very very good. My husband and I couldn't fault 1 thing (which is a little unusual) For me the only downfall was that we went on Sunday morning at 10 and we couldn't get a delicious bloody mary before our breakfast. As the law requires we wait till 11. But we still enjoyed one after our meal. We were very impressed with the friendly bartender also. Will be going back as soon as we can!

“Worth the trip!”

Excellent seafood for land locked Lexington. The peel and eat shrimp are as good as any Florida coastal eatery.

“Great Oysters”
Reviewed 4 September 2012

Stopped by for late lunch on Saturday with family. Ordered oysters on halfshell, pound of cold peel and eat shrimp, Woodgrilled oysters and Stuffed Mushrooms with Crab Meat for appetizers. All of them were excellent, the blue point oysters were sweet and tasty, the cold shrimp was spiced with Old Bay and was excellent, the grilled oysters had butter and parmesan cheese and the stuffed mushrooms are the best. We stop by frequently and have never had a bad meal or experience. the grouper fingers are also great. The staff are always pleasant and very attentive to your needs.
