Very eclectic. Lots of different things new and old and some really strange and unexpected like coffins.
The pricing system is definitely complex and out of date.
Very cool browsing place and I imagine you could definitely find something great if you knew what you were looking for.
They literally have a room full of doors and shutters.
We were driving down Market st and saw this place. It's a three story brick old school building FULL of unusual, but great things! NOT the average antique store! Also had alot of salvage building materials, like windows, doorknob, pillars. A must visit if you like antiques!!!
They have a lot of very interesting things here, but so many are definitely not for the "average" antique buyer. The pricing system is very time consuming to figure out. The staff here gives the impression they really don't care for customers being in there space. Our last visit here we arrived about half an hour before closing. We went straight up to the second floor to pick up an item as a Christmas gift and stopped at 2 or 3 cases to look quickly. We were met by a employee who told us "we are closing", proceeded by us and then turned off the lights in the room and on the stairs. We had to feel our way down to first floor, only to find lights out, door locked and all cashiers gone at 10 minutes to posted closing time. One of the laborers took our money, unlocked the front door and gate so we could get out. This was 4 years ago and I still haven't been back.
Using an out-dated pricing system, and workers who could care less, this place is more of a curiosity than a place of business. Lots of reproductions, even more NOT FOR SALE. The few things they do have for sale aren't really antiques for the most part and are over-priced. Interesting to browse once. If you have somewhere else to go save your time and skip this one.
