“Great Place to see old time movies”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

This is a 1915 magnificent old time theatre that is something to see. It was built when money was no problem and has an opulence that is impossible to duplicate today

“Old World Charm”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

My favorite place to see a show. Have seen various performances over the years. Venue is small which makes every seat a great view and interior is stunning not only in show area but in lobby and hallways as well. When you walk in you do take a step back in time and do feel an old world charm almost like you were somewhere else. Great place to walk in and experience even if show is not going on. The staff is always excellent and lines are never bad for bar area. Parking is also very convenient and area seems safe. My only complaint is that the Palace seems a little underused or maybe not as many shows I would like to see in my genre.

“Wonderful theater”

I believe we saw Celtic Women a few years ago. Sound was fantastic and the interior was very impressive. Would definitely go back for another show.

“Amazing Interior!!”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

I have seen several bands here. The venue is small enough to be intimate and very enjoyable for any entertainment. They have several places to get beverages with very little lines. You are also allowed outside to smoke and reenter. The inside decor makes you feel as though you are somewhere in Europe. Truly breathtaking.!

“Beautiful old theater”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

The Palace is a beautiful old theater that is very well maintained. The staff is friendly, and perhaps a bit overly helpful (I am familiar enough with the venue that I do not need an usher to see me all the way to my seat), but it is nice that the service is available.

The seats are comfortable and well maintained.

The lobby seems to always be a bit crowded and small, before shows and during intermission. The mens room access is via the bar and on the far side of the venue from the entry doors, which is inconvenient if you've already waited in line for entry. It is also inconvenient for those with accessibility needs.

Temperature control in the venue is terrible. Before the theater fills with people, the environment is comfortable. However, the venue seems to lack the ability to keep the theater seating area cool after the space fills with patrons. Best comfort is attained in the rows closest to the stage. Any further back than 12 rows and the temperature is uncomfortably warm or even hot near the rear.

Sound quality is fair to good. I've been to many similar venues that have better sound quality. The issue seems to be too many reflective surfaces on the sides of the theater. Still, acoustics are reasonable enough that I have enjoyed many fine shows there.
