Been to Abbey Road for nine years. This festival is a must for Beatles fans. The bands are great and the location is amazing. It's a family friendly festival. Will be back again next year!

Louisville has hosted this wonderful event for a number of years, but last week was my first time. I expected to have fun, and it was more fun than I had even hoped it would be. The setting is perfect -- downtown Louisville where they are able to use both the Muhammed Ali Center and the Galt House Hotel as venues for several of the many live bands that perform during the several days of the festival. In addition to the bands that play indoors, there are great bands outdoors at the fountain stage and on the lawn stage and at the stage just outside the Muhammed Ali Center. All venues are within relatively easy walking distance.

If I were to suggest how this awesome event could be even better, I would recommend:
1.). In addition to the usual junk food and beer tents, add some food trucks that offer better quality healthier choices. Fortunately, Main St. Is just a block away & it's easy to walk over there and get a decent meal.
2.) Allocate a little less space to the areas with chairs just in front of the outdoor stages. Most people seem to prefer to sit on their own chairs or quilts on the lawn behind the white plastic chairs. We certainly did. It's less expensive, and it's easier to move around.

I loved hearing so much good live music from the Beatles era, mostly the Beatles songs but also others.

Being able to see the river in the distance not too far behind some of the the bands was wonderful. Downtown Louisville is much more inviting now than it was when I was growing up there. Come and see!

Abbey Road was A-mazing! The event wasn't too spread out but had just enough stages and different conference areas for speakers. Everything seemed to run like clockwork. Kudos to all the hard workers on this event!

If there is one Beatles' festival to go to than this is by far the best! Held annually in Belvedere festival park as well as the Galt House and the Ali Center the excitement never stops.
Each year new concerts and bands are added from all over the world as well as some old familiar faces. Late night concerts and sing-a-longs. The fun never ends!
2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the Beatles coming to America and AROTR focuses on that as well as special guests The Beach Boys.
Reasonable prices, both outdoor and indoor stages. This year will mark my 6th visit! Currently in final sales make sure to get your tickets now! You will truly enjoy making new friends and reliving the 60s!
