Our room had several cracks in the walls, some of the outlets pushed inward when trying to plug in devices, it was very dirty & dusty behind the bed, there was garbage in the garbage cans when we arrived. One of the doors to a side entrance did not function properly. Needless to say, I do not plan on staying at this hotel again the next time we are in Louisville.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights last week. The hotel is dated and in need of a renovation, and the room was not clean. It looked unvacuumed; the sheets of one bed were stained, oh and there were a pair of someone's dirty socks in the bathroom area. We arrived about 10:30pm, exhausted from our long road trip, discovered the stained sheets and called the front desk. They said there was no one to change the bed,it would have to wait until the next day, so I asked if they could bring clean sheets, I would change them. They did and we changed the bed.

The next day we talked to the manager about the dirty room, and he said he would take care of it. We went out for a few hours, came back to see both beds newly changed; however that old pair of socks? Still there....so I'm wondering how they missed that if they did a thorough cleaning?

If the room had been clean, the hotel would have been fine. Yes, the hallways are dark, the plaster on the walls is crumbling off, and it is in great need of a good rennovation, but it would be OK if the room was clean. They do offer continental beakfast which was simple with only a few items inlcuding the make your own waffle option, but certainly not many choices.

So in closing, I would say stay at your own risk, not the worse hotel I have stayed in, but close ;)
