Fair to say, I have never understood what the wax (or the like) museums were all about. So don’t ask me how I found myself in the Hall of Fame. I must have been so impressed by Jeita Grotto that didn’t think about where we were heading next.
The Hall of Fame figures are silicon, not wax, and most of them look not so bad. But this was a bit of a shock, because many figures have movement sensors and audio files. So don’t be surprised when out of the blue they start whistle, move and talk with the audio records from the past (while the mimics of course remains motionless). Among others, they have an impressive selection of the Middle East politicians.
The price of Lebanese 12,000 (considering that remarkable Baalbek is LL 15,000 and amazing Faqra ruins were only 3,000) is too much, in my opinion. Photography is allowed inside.
