Home to thousands of aquatic animals in scores of exhibits, the Newport Aquarium will amaze you with all there is to see and do. The aquarium is really a fantastic attraction, worth the price of admission. And so is the surrounding area! Plan to spend extra time there enjoyinb the waterfront.
Valet Parking is less expensive than the nearby park-yourself lot.

Second time we held company event here. Always great service. Thank you Margaret Bedillion and Sarah in Sales. Sarah was amazing! Great job. Our gusts loved the place and food in the Riverview room. Repeat customer.

Visited this Aquarium recently. A little pricey for what you see. The beginning is average fish tanks. They have great penguin area and a large area to view sharks & lager fish.

This aquarium is well spaced with lots to see. There is everything from an huge shark tank, to a penguin exhibit to 600 lb tortoise from the Galapagos. Take your time and check out all the display cases. Loved the penguins at feeding time. There are stations where you can touch star fish and sharks. Ere are areas where you can witness feeding times and employees throughout the aquarium that are more than happy to answer any question you have. We took our baby granddaughter and although she fell asleep after two hours we continued to enjoy the exhibits. If you live in the are and have children getting an annual pass is definitely worth it. My only negative comment is that the snack bar is smack in the middle of the exhibits and the smell of fried food as you walk through it is nauseating.

Newport aquarium is a great place to visit. All ages can enjoy the attractions including penguins, sharks, frogs, turtles, and fish. Their are opportunities to touch a variety of animals. It is educational and clean. It is a bit expensive for a day visit, but passes are well worth it (sold individually not as families) we try to visit several times of year and especially enjoy the Christmas season--find all Santa's reindeer :) It can be very crowded on weekend mornings. Definetly worth a visit for out of town visitors and locals. The Levee (where the aquarium is located) has several nice restaurants, movie theatre, shops, and often outside entertainment or festivals near-by on the riverfront.
