Description: Handcrafted for Five Generations Since 1870. Louis and Regina Graeter started handcrafting Graeter's Ice Cream in 1870. Today, generations later, we proudly remain family owned and operated. This is made possible thanks to you, our legion of loyal fans. For a century and a half, Graeter's has remained steadfast in our commitment to making ice cream in 2 gallon French Pots one batch at a time.

Graeter's is ... well ... Great! We went to the downtown location years ago, but this time we stopped at the Grand Avenue location. A little bit off the beaten track, but clean and immaculate, and the perfect way to end the day. The only thing better - maybe - is the Sicilian gelato we had in Rome two years ago.

This ice cream was just as advertised. EXCELLENT!! The chocolate chip had HUGE chocolate pieces and was super creamy. Everyone enjoyed it. We would definitely go back.

We had the cookie monster sundae. For $5 this was splittable between two adults and 3 kids, so the value ice cream this good is amazing. Ended up stopping here both nights we were in the area.

Some unusual flavors, and they were wonderful. Be sure to try the raspberry chip. I was told this is the best seller. Don't know if it really is, or they were trying to push a non-seller, but it was delicious (just kidding, Graeters!

We stopped at Graeter's after a trip to the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati at the request of a nearby fan from the area. A local tradition for four generations, the quality of the ice cream is easy to detect because the flavors are very strong. In many ways, it reminded our group of a small-scale version of Kilwin's, without the fudge/chocolate treats.
