Description: Nestling in the small idyllic village of Whitchurch-on-Thames, and just a few yards from the Toll Bridge, is The Ferryboat. A beautiful 18th century country bar and restaurant that’s packed with atmosphere. With an established reputation for serving fine food and bar snacks, complemented by a good selection of quality wines, ales and soft drinks, it is the perfect place to visit for a casual drink, lunch or dinner. Whether it’s after a walk or cycle ride along the Thames Path or as a stop-off point as you journey along the river, you are always guaranteed a warm welcome. The newly added function room, known as “The Garden Room”, is an ideal location for a business meeting or private function.

Visited for Sunday lunch with my wife and friends. The food was excellent, the atmosphere welcoming and the staff friendly and attentive. Would definately recommend and visit again.
