Stayed overnight on the way to Florida. I called ahead as their website said it would give us a better rate - it did by $10.00. What a great place to stay. The lobby is beautiful with the grand staircase. There is a restaurant right on site. We didn't eat there, but looked like a nice, fun place with a varied menu. We stayed in a king room - very clean, quiet & a real comfy bed. We used the pool & whirlpool both clean and refreshing (warming our bones coming from Michigan) Breakfast is included in the price - scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy (I think sausage) hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereals, yogurt, waffles, juices, teas & coffee. Staff is super friendly. Very impressed by this hotel - and best night's sleep I ever got while traveling. We will be back.

In town with a group to work a Christmas outreach in the area, Staff were very courteous, and helpful. Rooms were clean and they put our group together. Children enjoyed the pool. Great entry way very beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great place to stay and well worth the rate of the room

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay here recently and were very impressed. Just the lobby makes a great impression and let me know we were in for a great stay.

The inn is operated by the local university so most of the staff is made up of college kids paying their way through school. Everyone was friendly and eager to help.

The included breakfast was complete and wonderful.

We look forward to our next trip to this area so we can visit again.

Traveling to Fl I needed a quick stop and found this place It is part of the school and the students are all employees. Rooms are clean but dated. No plugs for your electronics. Also no liquor in the restaurant! Nice breakfast in the AM, just like every place anymore. Price was on the high side 107$ for the night.

Not a bad stop over if needed. Clean and friendly!

Stayed one night on our travel route home. Had great reviews so decided to try it out. Great price at $88/night with hot breakfast. The lobby is just stunning and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Just gorgeous. Very nice clean room with very comfy bed. University students staff the inn and restaurant onsite. All that we interacted with were very friendly and helpfull. Got carryout from the steakhouse onsite because we wanted to relax in our room. Excellent food! our steaks were great. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

walk into the grand entrance of the foyer and registration desk area and it reminded us of a splendid southern plantation house. This wonderful inn is situated right off interstate I-75 and is owned and operated by the University Of The Cumberland and staffed by the students. Our room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The free breakfast buffet in the morning was served in a grand dining room instead of the typical closet sized areas offered by many motels. We didn't get a chance to tour the attached historical museum but will do so on our next visit.

You can't go wrong here. It's like staying in a mansion for a very reasonable price. A treat. The atmosphere is historic. Great restaurant attached. Very clean. The hotel is staffed by Cumberland College students as part of their work program. Nice.
