We used to like Di Giulio's but tonight's dinner was a flop. There is no recovering from mistakes like these. I ordered the grouper with brown butter caper sauce. What I got was a small bland piece of grouper with no flavor, certainly no brown butter, topped with a pile of salty cold capers right out of the jar. The waitress said the price was $19.95, but we were charged $24.95. She also told us that there would be a $.50 upcharge for substituting vegetables for the side of pasta. Instead, we were charged $3.00. The eggplant in the eggplant parmesan was thick and uncooked in the middle. The marsala sauce was thickened with with a starch that made it gummy and slimy. Over all, the meal was despicable.
