“Awesome great food fun atmosphere always packed with locals.”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

Authentic Italian meals served timely and with reasonable serving sizes. Had special, poached veal with an out of this world sause. Highly recommend to all Italian food lovers. Be prepared for a wait during busy hours. Has lovely outdoor patio with misters to keep you cool. This is a local's favorite and is always packed with local regulars. Ask for Mike or Richard (owners) if everything is not perfect and they will see to it your dining experience will be wonderful. Bartenders are knowledgeable about wine list and will pour a taste if you are uncertain. Don't miss this restuarant.

“Not what it used to be”
Reviewed 14 July 2013

We used to like Di Giulio's but tonight's dinner was a flop. There is no recovering from mistakes like these. I ordered the grouper with brown butter caper sauce. What I got was a small bland piece of grouper with no flavor, certainly no brown butter, topped with a pile of salty cold capers right out of the jar. The waitress said the price was $19.95, but we were charged $24.95. She also told us that there would be a $.50 upcharge for substituting vegetables for the side of pasta. Instead, we were charged $3.00. The eggplant in the eggplant parmesan was thick and uncooked in the middle. The marsala sauce was thickened with with a starch that made it gummy and slimy. Over all, the meal was despicable.

“Great Food”
Reviewed 13 June 2013

Love the food. The atmosphere is loud and crowded though. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, this is not it.

“Good Italian food”
Reviewed 24 April 2013

Eh, I've never had a "5 TripAdvisor dots" meal here. Another tiny Italian restaurant in a cute area of town (near campus), this affordable (but not cheap) Italian restaurant offers a good meal for the price. Weekends can get packed. There are always a group of regulars in there.

Atmosphere is small and intimate. Food is good, service is what you would expect.

Overall good Italian restaurant. The regulars will rant and rave about it, others (like myself) may just respect it for not being bad.
