Radisson Hotel Baton Rouge

This will be our 4th time staying at the Radisson in Baton Rouge. We have always had great service, and as older travelers, we did receive a room on the first floor as requested when making reservations online. Our first stay was on the side by the highway and was very loud at night, so we try to get a room on the back side of the hotel when possible. We have had no complaints though, and the staff had been great! I do miss the tropical colors of the outside, but it looks nice now too. :)

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the back if possible, away from the highway.

this hotel was booked via hotwire, it was a lovely surprise after staying in some 2 star accommodation. The room wasn't overly big, but had big style furniture to give it a wow factor, The bed was really comfy, glad I wasn't too short, it was so high. The Bath room was gorgeous with a 3 shower heads, and walk through stone shower recess. We made use of the microwave to heat food. No free breakfast provided. Free parking and wifi. The only down side was that the airconditioner was really noisy and had to be turned off at night to sleep. The second night we were offered to change rooms, but there was not much difference. This is something that the hotel should work on.

Room Tip: ask for room away from main road.

The customer service is great but the hotel needs some work to it. The rooms are very small. The front desk will do anything for you and very helpful. The hotel is average. We stayed 1 night so it wasn't that bad but the pictures look different than what the hotel really looks like.

Very nice comfortable hotel. Decor is a bit funky/mod, no carpet in rooms, but very comfortable SleepNumber bed, European style shower, and great LCD TV. Bar is well-stocked, and restaurant is very good and reasonable. Friendly staff.

Our service club was looking for a place to hold our club meetings. We contacted the sales manager, Ms. Brumfield, and she invited us to check out the property and try the food. We did and were very pleased. The Bistro offered plenty of space for our club members and guests. The food was good as well as the service. The location of the property would be a more central location for members and there is plenty of parking.

We had our first meeting on August 6th and it was a huge success! Members and guests liked the location and the modern look of the Bistro. Members were satisfied with the food choices and remarked that the food and service was very good. There were a few glitches, as we had a few more people than expected, but everything turned out well and the sales manager even pitched in to help take orders, serve food and assist with the AV equipment. The entire staff made us feel like valuable customers and we look forward to continuing business with the Radisson.

Our 2015 family reunion will be in Baton Rouge and we have chosen the Radisson for the family to stay. The Sales and Event Manager Rebekah E. Brumfield was very helpful in answering all of our questions. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and made it possible for us to choose this hotel over other hotels we had visited. We will also have our banquet in one of their very functionally laid out meeting rooms.

Everything was about average or below. The ceilings are very short so it made me feel a little claustrophobic. Rooms were not comfortable at all, mainly due to the hardwood floors. Experience was below average until I was ignored at breakfast (not a buffet) and I eventually left with no food and was not able to take advantage of my free breakfast. I will never stay here again

This is a not a usual experience that our guests enjoy and indeed comment regularly about the quality of service they receive at the Radisson hotel in Baton Rouge.
