A visit to "The Box" will provide you with the experience of true southern hospitality (along with one of the finest baseball games ever)! Even if it's your first time, you are no stranger when you leave. I can guarantee you will meet some of the best fans ever and have the opportunity to make friends who will feed you (tailgating) and make sure you have a wonderful time. There will be no shortage of invitations to return whenever you're in town. You're in for a pleasant surprise!

Whether you love kids', high school, college, or pro baseball, you will love "The Box." LSU has, for twenty plus seasons, fielded championship-caliber teams, and has led the nation in attendance all of those years. There seems to be no strangers in our park. Conversations start quite easily. You will find LSU fans to be some of the most knowledgeable anywhere.

I did not give the stadium a full commendation b/c the food leaves a lot to be desired. The popcorn is not popped fresh. its the kind you get at supermarkets: stone cold, not fresh, and too salty. The hot dogs are usually the best bet. The VooDoo BBQ sandwich is okay also. Hamburgers are often not very warm, buns are grease-soaked, etc. Last year they started serving a few Louisiana dishes like jambalaya and meat pies. The former was okay, but the latter was just too greasy. There are, through last year, no healthy choices like fruit or salads like you find in other parks. Cold extras, like mayo, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and jalapeños are available at an open bar, which is a plus. There are few "brand name" choices as we find in other Southeastern Conf. parks. You can purchase a personal pizza, but I find this item to be not hot and not tasty.

The food, even the bottled water, is WAY overpriced, especially for the quality served. A family of four will spend close to, if not over, forty dollars, for a hot dog, one fry or chip, and one drink each. If that was awesome, fresh-cooked food, with all the trimmings (chili, cheese, etc.), you might be willing to spend that for a day at the park. But, the food does not fit that description.

Best Baseball Park ever, best fans in the world. No other place like it in the SEC!!! This is a Baseball Stadium not a attraction, and is on the LSU Campus which is a beautiful place to visit.

Unless you're a die hard LSU fan, or you're actually going to an LSU game, this really isn't much of an attraction. It's a very nice stadium for the collegiate level, but it's not much of a stand-alone attraction in my opinion. I took a walk around the stadium to check in out, and I wasn't nearly as impressed as some of the other reviewers made it sound. It's fairly large for a college stadium, but it doesn't stand alone as an attraction the way the MLB stadiums do. Skip this attraction unless you have tickets to a game.

Very nice, new stadium with good ballgame food.....but NO BEER. Beer and baseball go hand-in-hand; I think somebody forgot about that....or really LSU said no-no. Regardless, it's hard to enjoy a full game of baseball without a good buzz. We'll be back, though. Best bet for parking is to park on the side of the main road and walk.
