We had issues with the television in our bedroom with many channels not working. We kept losing Wi Fi connections. There were dead cockroaches in the main suite on the floor next to the end table and they were very visible. We have called and left 2 messages for the manager and as of yet there has been no return call. The young ladies at the front desk didn't seem interested in our concerns and only handed us the business card of the manager. We are Rewards Members and have traveled 12 years around the United States mostly staying at Best Western and this is the second time we have had issues with Best Western. For the price we paid for a suite, it was unacceptable.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent stay with us. It gives us a chance to improve whenever and wherever possible. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations but we are taking your comments very seriously and are working on fixing the problems so that every guest will have a better stay. The cable provider that we use was having some property wide (and block wide) issues with channels, but those have already been corrected. We have had some complaints about some of the signals losing strength in parts of some rooms in a few building and additional routers have already been purchased and on their way to help with that problem. We also have monthly pest control that sprays and we have contacted them to focus on that area. I also apologize for any delay in following up with your messages, we have addressed this concern and have developed a better way of communicating messages to all of our departments so that none get missed. If you have still not been able to reach a manager, please contact me directly and I would be happy to speak with you. We hope that you will give us another chance to exceed your expectations.

We have stayed at this excellent hotel several times
over the last five years, the most recent time being
last June.
The rooms are very large, clean and offer balconies
or terraces as an added bonus. The pool is of
excellent size, and the complimentary breakfast
Is delicious and offers a very wide variety of
options. In the early evening, there is even a
complimentary entree type food dish offered
At Happy Hour in the bar area.
The location is great, right off I-10 and close to LSU, in
the center of the Baton Rouge area.
As lagniappe, the hotel is dog-friendly and service has
always been very friendly and efficient!
Finally, the pricing is very reasonable for its class.
Obviously, we are very pleased in making this our
home when we visit family in Louisiana.

Room Tip: We love the rooms with balconies overlooking the pool.

My family had a great stay at this hotel over Labor Day weekend. The young lady that assisted in check-in was very helpful & the lady cooking breakfast is the bomb! There were indifferent employees, rude guests, and not-so-great area, but overall, we were extremely pleased. Great bargain, great breakfast, comfortable suite. Would recommend!

I must say our stay was very pleasurable. The property was very clean. Our room ( suite) was very clean, No odors of any kind. No wet floors. The dishes were clean, as well as all appliances. Our restroom was sparkling. Our beds were very comfortable, with clean sheets and clean comforters. The WiFi was very fast. We had plenty of towels, wash cloths etc. When we needed clean ones, it was not an issue to get them, as soon as we let a staff member know, they were there! Speaking of the staff, they were very sweet, caring and kind people. This even includes the maintenance personnel. No we didn't need them, however they were still very friendly! The breakfast is great, the pool, very inviting ! It isn't always easy pleasing a family of 5 but these people did it !! We will be coming back again and again !

Room Tip: We stayed in building E room 164 on the ground floor and had no issues with noise !!

My family of six really enjoyed the wonderful staff, clean hotel, and excellent food - we will look here first when we next go to Baton Rouge. The pool was a lot of fun, and please take advantage of the free breakfast and hors d'oeuvres in the lounge. They were both very good.
