We did this as a romantic afternoon of educational fun with great sights in mind. We saw so many alligators that we lost count. We even got to see a pair of bald eagles. We saw numerous birds, turtles, fish, lizards, and even some baby alligators no bigger than large froglet looking creatures. This was our first time doing a swamp boat tour, and it exceeded our expectations. Bryan was an amazing boat captain, with jokes, history, and facts about all kinds of things bayou, Cajun, and natural. Even the receptionist who answered the phone and took our reservation went above and beyond with super friendly personality and a plethora of information.

We will definitely be back with our children in the future. Worth much more than the 20.00 per person that we paid.

Our group came from CA for business in Baton Rouge. The daily seminars left little room for exploring the sites. However, since it only takes approx. 45 minutes to get to Champagne’s Swamp Tours in Breaux Bridge, we decided to attempt a swamp tour after class one day. Bryan was very accommodating and sensitive to our time limitations. Pam in the office was very friendly and her diligence in phone correspondence was instrumental in getting us on the tour schedule.

Our whole group enjoyed themselves on the tour and were able to get some amazing photos of the sunset; simply beautiful among the trees and moss of the swamp. Bryan is very knowledgeable and humorous as well, he had us all laughing with his stories. We even had a few surprises, but I don’t want to give it all away.

If you have a chance, you should take Champagne’s swamp tour. Please don’t let the 45-minute drive from Baton Rouge discourage a swamp tour on Lake Martin. 100% worth it!

The BEST tour we've ever experienced!! Bryan & Pam were so friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable - they MADE this tour. We felt as though we were hanging out with friends or family. Bryan took us through the swamp and the lake stopping frequently to point things out & give us the history. Truly an awesome tour! We had a group of 6 and highly recommend Champagne's! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really didn't know how educational a swamp tour would be. It was educational AND beautiful. Our guide Forrest, showed us the difference between the Boyou, Swamp, Lake, and river. Forrest was very well informed, and although we know he's done the tour many times, we felt it was like his first.

We saw many Alligators and wildlife, but never felt danger at all. It was well worth the money. In fact, we thought it was worth more than we were charged.

Also, a great experience for your children, and a great way to teach them to respect the beauty of nature and wild life.
