I have lived in Louisiana my whole life and have seen the swamp many times. This was my first official tour and it was GREAT! We saw at least 20 alligators, egrets, Blue Herons, and many more birds and species. The boat ride was very comfortable and our tour guide was great. I think his name was Ronnie. The tour cost $20 and lasted almost 2 hours. It was worth every penny. Very educational.

We had a wonderful experience with Champane's Swamp Tour. The cost is so reasonable - $20.oo for 2 hours! The owners are friendly and helpful. The boats are comfy and our guide (Forrest) was wonderful. He truly loves the swamp and shared that love with all of us. He got us near alligators and birds without harassing them and found his way to a nest with tiny baby alligators. Unlike other tours, the owners have a warf where you can hang out and watch alligators and birds before and after your tour. A great place to hang out and have a beer.

We had so much fun on the tour that afterwards we rented kayaks and paddled around for another two hours on our own. The highlight of our trip! Highly recommended!

We did this as a romantic afternoon of educational fun with great sights in mind. We saw so many alligators that we lost count. We even got to see a pair of bald eagles. We saw numerous birds, turtles, fish, lizards, and even some baby alligators no bigger than large froglet looking creatures. This was our first time doing a swamp boat tour, and it exceeded our expectations. Bryan was an amazing boat captain, with jokes, history, and facts about all kinds of things bayou, Cajun, and natural. Even the receptionist who answered the phone and took our reservation went above and beyond with super friendly personality and a plethora of information.

We will definitely be back with our children in the future. Worth much more than the 20.00 per person that we paid.

Our group came from CA for business in Baton Rouge. The daily seminars left little room for exploring the sites. However, since it only takes approx. 45 minutes to get to Champagne’s Swamp Tours in Breaux Bridge, we decided to attempt a swamp tour after class one day. Bryan was very accommodating and sensitive to our time limitations. Pam in the office was very friendly and her diligence in phone correspondence was instrumental in getting us on the tour schedule.

Our whole group enjoyed themselves on the tour and were able to get some amazing photos of the sunset; simply beautiful among the trees and moss of the swamp. Bryan is very knowledgeable and humorous as well, he had us all laughing with his stories. We even had a few surprises, but I don’t want to give it all away.

If you have a chance, you should take Champagne’s swamp tour. Please don’t let the 45-minute drive from Baton Rouge discourage a swamp tour on Lake Martin. 100% worth it!

The BEST tour we've ever experienced!! Bryan & Pam were so friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable - they MADE this tour. We felt as though we were hanging out with friends or family. Bryan took us through the swamp and the lake stopping frequently to point things out & give us the history. Truly an awesome tour! We had a group of 6 and highly recommend Champagne's! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
