We arrived from Boracay, taking the Caticlan-Cebu PAL flight and onward the fast ferry from Cebu to Tagbilaran. We told the hotel several times that we would arrive by boat, but still, when we arrived, the driver was waiting in the airport instead of the seaport.
When we finally arrived at the hotel, there was no baby crib in our room, while I called the day before to verify that my request for a baby bed was going to be fullfilled. It took 2 hours and a lot of encouragement from our side to bring a baby bed to our room.
The hotel room is quite basic and that's fine for us, however the noise isolation is very bad. It's just like sleeping in open air. We were in a beach-front superior room on a Saturday night with a lot of live performances on the beach and afterwards a lot of drunk people shouting until the early hours. Not a good room for our baby daughter, who wakes up with the slightest sound. So we asked to be moved to a more quiet room. We were transfered to the poolside, however noone told us that that night would be the grand opening of their new buildings and that this included a huge party .... at the poolside.
Maybe the noise was just bad timing, but what irritated me was the misunderstandings and lack of information from the staff.

Everything has started with the booking... I booked for 4 persons, 2 adults and 2 kids and they give us a room with 2 simple beds and they were arguing that the kids can sleep with us... For about 4000 pesos/night, the kids finally slept on the floor. We were barely able to take a shower because there was no water pressure, the toilet was broken (they fixed it hopefully), there was no safe box, no fridge, no towel for the pool. We were coming from Dumaguete where we stayed at the very nice Bahura resort and for 5000 pesos/night, we had an amazing spot. We had a very bad surprise in Alona Kew and I don't recommend this hotel. My lover also dove a little bit, just enough to see a stupid diver broke a huge piece of coral with his huge camera... and broke another one with his fins. I'll stop here. But Bohol is amazing.

Nice place - friendly and good service - select room of different standards - close to beach

This hotel has a fantastic location but that's where the charm ends. The executive suite was very expensive and definitely not worth it.

The staff at the front desk were polite but clueless. Not one simple request such as hand towels or extra toilet paper was fulfilled.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere in Alona Beach...

This resort is right in the middle of Alona beach in Panglao, Bohol so it would be a short walk to every other resorts/restaurants/bars in the area. The rooms are not great, but it's pretty much what I expected as they offer one of lowest rates in Alona. Room rates includes breakfast for two.

We only stayed for a night and early (5:30am) the following morning we had to go dolphin watching and snorkeling. They packed our breakfast for us, but you have to inform them the night before that you'll have your breakfast to go. We choose filipino breakfast which includes fried rice, eggs, longanisa/tapa, and ripe mangoes.

We ate dinner at their restaurant and I didn't like it. The food was not good and a bit expensive. I really don't mind paying a high price as long as the food tastes good. I would recommend you go out and look for some other place to eat, there are plenty of restaurants within a short walk. The take out breakfast we had was not really that bad.

The staff were friendly. Overall, the entire stay was really nice except for the restaurant food, maybe.
