We have just stayed here for two nights and this is a real gem of a B&B. Immaculately clean, with every comfort you could want. Tea and cake on arrival and an excellent breakfast both mornings. Jane and Dick were extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again and to recommend this B&B to other travellers.

Stayed as a foursome for three nights from 13 May. My wife and I had the Garden room, our friends had the Orchard room. Spotless and spacious accommodation with every facility, including thoughtful touches like a torch and hot-water bottles (fortunately not needed!) Excellent cooked breakfasts, with homemade bread and jam.

We used the bus from the end of the lane into Norwich - and yes, it only takes ten minutes!

For evening meals we went to the Ferry Inn, which was reasonably priced, with an extensive menu and friendly staff.

All in all, an excellent experience.

Thank you Jane.

Room Tip: Any room would be fine - it's a lovely, quiet location.

We found this B & B on the internet. It is situated not far from Norwich in 5 acres of lovely gardens and orchards. The owner, Julie, was extremely friendly and welcoming. On arrival we were offered cake and tea and then shown to our room. We overlooked the orchard. We had a twin room with lovely comfortable beds and white cotton bed linen. The en suite shower was lovely and spacious and there were the usual complimentary toiletries. The bathroom was well equipped and modern. There was a good selection of teas and coffees and homemade short breads. WiFi was good and easily accessible.

There is a guest lounge overlooking the gardens where you can find a plethora of books, pamphlets, DVD's and games. There is also a lot of information on the local area and the Broads.

Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden. The quality of the produce and range of menu is excellent. Jane is a super cook and everything is cooked fresh and to order.Jane makes her own bread and this is served as toast with your breakfast. There is also a good choice of fresh fruit, cereals, muesli, nuts and yogurts as well as fruit juice.

The whole stay was a pleasurable experience - the peace and quiet were also a bonus. It is an ideal place to use as a base to visit the surrounding area.

Jane also runs bread making courses at different times of the year. You can find out when via the website.

Room Tip: All 3 rooms have good aspects. Views over the gardens or paddock at the back.

I have just stayed for two nights while busy in Norwich. Jane was a lovely host and very welcoming - with delicious homemade bread, perfectly cooked breakfasts, and full packed lunches. The accommodation was comfortable, warm, clean and cannot be faulted. The B&B is set in a nice quiet location but very convenient for Norwich. I know where I will be staying when next in the area.

I stayed for 2 nights to attend a friend's wedding. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was great with homemade bread and jam and the cooked breakfast was delicious.

On top of this I was made to feel very welcome. All in all a great weekend stay.

My wife and i have just had the pleasure of staying at one of the best B&B's that we have stayed in for a very long time over the Easter break.
Jane and Dick were lovely hosts and very helpful, their home / B&B is spotless and very comfortable, the gardens stunning, work in progress, as for breakfast lovely fresh farm produce well cooked, but the best bit for me was the bread which Jane makes she holds bread making courses at certain times through out the year.
i highly recommend this B&B don't be put off by the fact that it seems a way out side Norwich as the bus stop is just outside the B&B and just takes 10 mins you are only mins from the Broads, the B&B is reasonably priced as well.
Thanks for the lovely stay.

I (oops - I'm borrowing my partners log in details - is that allowed??) had a wonderful day making bread with a group of friends. Jane was brilliant - very patient and very knowledgeable. I regularly make bread with a bread maker but I now have the confidence to make lots of different breads by hand. My family were hugely impressed by the selection of breads I came home with - the focaccia and hot cross buns were a particular hit. A super way to spend a day (including lots of cups and tea and a tasty lunch) - thankyou Jane!

Thank you so much for the review. So glad you all enjoyed the day baking. I think the Hot Cross Buns are our favourite - more substance than shop bought without the unpronounceable ingredients. I hope you are continuing to bake your own bread at home and should you have any questions do not hesitate to either email me on enquiries@hallparknorfolk.co.uk or phone on 01508 495567. Happy Baking! Jane
