We stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 young boys. Lisa and her family made us feel really welcome and relaxed, they were accommodating and friendly but not in your face - they left us to our own devices but were there if we needed them. We had the family room which is 2 rooms with an adjoining door - which was perfect as the boys loved having their own space and we were happy they were close by. The rooms themselves are really well laid out with lovely furnishings and loads of little nice touches and luxuries - without us feeling like we couldn't touch anything in case we broke it. The breakfasts were amazing, truly delicious and we enjoyed sitting round the table with the other 2 guests, Lisa just seems to put everyone at ease. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone whether they have children or not.

I have just read all the other reviews on this wonderful B&B and to be honest, there isn't much more that can be said! The hosts are warm, friendly, lovely people who made us feel welcome from the mot we arrived. The house is GORGEOUS and our room was probably the best room I have ever stayed in! It had everything you could wish for and was immaculate. The little extras such as the radio and ipod docking station added to the experience. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was out of this world. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an idyllic setting for a break. Thank you to all the family for a lovely weekend, it was a pleasure meeting you.

Room Tip: All rooms are amazing!

We stayed at Pickersgill manor farm with our 5 yr old daughter and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We stayed in the family suite which is actually two rooms, one large double and one twin. The standard of the accommodation is excellent. You surrounded by beautiful countryside and of course a whole lot of sheep and also other animals, needless to say this kept our 5yr old entertained the whole time. I would recommend this B&B to anyone travelling with children but also to people who like piece and quiet and lots of walks on their doorstep. The B&B is secluded but still only a 10-15 min drive away from Skipton. Lovely stay.

Having just returned from a two night stay in this most wonderful B&B, praise must be heaped upon this most welcoming and inspiring family. Our room was exceptionally spacious with a massive bed, equally massive bathroom but more than anything else ~ spotlessly clean. Attention to detail was everywhere from the well stocked tea/coffee rack to the neatly folded toilet paper ;) and even a candle to acknowledge my birthday in my breakfast muffin! The weather outside was shockingly cold but the room was snug and welcoming.

Lisa and Marcus were a wealth of knowledge on the area and we enjoyed chatting over breakfast. Always made to feel welcome with nothing too much trouble.

Breathtaking views from the room (and the kitchen window), easy to locate, plenty of parking and a delicious breakfast too! The fruit/nut toasted bread was very moorish :)

Would highly recommend and hope to return again one day.

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful two night stay in this lovely farm house. To call it a B&B doesn't really do it justice! The family room ( two rooms next to each other) was furnished to an exceptional standard with a huge double bed and luxurious ensuite in one room and twin beds with wash basin in the other. Both had flat screen TVs and hospitality trays. I have stayed in far shoddier hotels and paid double the price! The owners really make the effort to make you feel at home. We ate a relaxed breakfast in the family kitchen enjoying a friendly chat whilst Lisa cooked for us. And what marvelous food! I cannot recommend it highly enough. Super choice of locally sourced ingredients cooked lovingly as you watch, splendid! Our children were thrilled with the chance to see the farm animals at close quarters. A huge success all round. Thankyou!

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely but if you are very tall it might be worth requesting the downstairs to avoid t...

We live locally but had a problem with our boiler - the heating engineer could not come till next day - so with temperatures forercast to drop and frost expected we decided to decamp for the night. We did not in this inistance consult trip advisor but in view of urgency did a search for B & B in the area - this farmhouse stood out well from the web page alone so we phoned and were able to book a room. The room was very spacious and comfortable with settee and large bed.The bathroom was large with shower and complete with an excellent selection of toiletries. We also opted for the meal - this was indeed very good, two courses, brought up to our room on individual trays including a soft drink and salt/pepper.
Our host was very accomodating and extremely pleasant - we needed an early start the next day and there was not a problem arranging an early breakfast. We fully endorse the previous comments about the wonderful breakfast, with a good choice menu. The surrounding area I know is lovely - I have cycled along Cringles Lane many times.

This is the best bed and breakfast we have stayed at on our trip! Pickergill farm was out standing in every way. The room was magnificent, spotlessly clean and enormous! The views from the room were just stunning and Lisa went out of her way to help us. The breakfast was terrific and a great way to start the day. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
