Charco del Palo is a town and holiday resort where clothing is optional. Finca del Mar is probably the best place to stay. It's a set of 6 bungalows with sea view, and a swimming pool which is big enough to have a cool down when sunbathing. Every bungalow has a terrace which offers sufficient privacy and while it faces eastwards you can enjoy the sun when having breakfast. The bungalows (we stayed in number 3) are very comfortable and offer all amenities. Bedlinnen and towels (plenty of them) are changed every week. Most of the guests are naturists, so you can swim and sunbathe in the nude. The hosts live in a house next to the bungalows. There's a reception and Gudrun and Klaus are always willing to help you out. They even print out your boarding passes without charging any fee. Wifi is free, but you can't capture the signal in the bedroom which is a pity when you want to watch Netflix in your bed. Another drawback was that the antenna of the satellite tv in our bungalow didn't work well, so we couldn't watch tv during our stay. We enjoyed our fortnight in Finca del Mar very much and will certainly come back again. We have stayed in plenty of naturist resorts over more than 20 years and Finca del Mar beat them all. The bungalow was excellent and the quiet and peace in Charco del Palo were just fantastic. You can also walk for hours in the nude in all directions of Charco, but remember to apply plenty of sun screen because in summer you can burn easily with the ever present wind in Lanzarote.
