“Great short break in beautiful mobile home”

We used to live in Northampton and have lots of relatives living there, so visit quite often from our home in the West country. We normally stay in a nearby motel, but didn't fancy staying in one room with a dog for several days, nor in a caravan on the nearby huge caravan holiday park. Having googled and found this, we booked immediately. So glad we did - everything about it was wonderful - the lovely well equipped and scrupulously clean caravan, the extremely generous welcome hamper, very comfortable bed, lovely little garden, beautiful park with fantastic walks in the woods for the dog. The owner, who responds to emails and any queries very quickly, popped round to meet us, lovely friendly man (our puppy thought so too, she licked his feet to death!). Wonderful stay in a beautiful caravan, we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Stuart.

It was lovely to meet you both and of course little Betty. We are so glad that you chose to stay with us and yes we do know of the larger park not far away which is not very private at all. Thank you for taking the time to leave the property so nice and clean also, something of which we always try our hardest to do for all of our guests. Please do keep in touch should the time come for a re visit, all three of you are most welcome anytime.

“Just perfect and far better than we expected of a caravan.”

Two architectural connoisseur chums studying the fine heritage of Northants had never stayed in a static caravan before, both being prejudiced about the idea. How wrong we were, this was great value for money with privacy and own parking and garden and every comfort and facility provided, even two loos. It was so much better than hotels or B&B, prejudice is indeed a costly and very stupid thing. Both are now absolute converts and would thoroughly recommend it to friends. Many thanks Stuart, we loved it and the garden and pleasant caravans' spacing, silver birch trees and location.

This caravan was exactly what we needed for our vacation to England to visit family and friends. We do have friends who live there year-round, which made our visit even nicer. Upon arrival, a welcome basket was there, just as others before us experienced. It is a nice gesture and much enjoyed. We had an issue with the heating system when we arrived, which was foreign to what we have back home in Canada, but we were able to reach the owner and the issue was resolved. Our weather wasn't the greatest, but we did manage to sit outdoors when the sun was out. Cushions for the patio chairs are readily available in the garden shed. The park is quiet at night and safety is never an issue. We didn't do any cooking other than heating up a bowl of soup, but if you plan on having your meals there.....no problem. The kitchen is very well stocked with all sorts of cooking utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. We wouldn't hesitate renting this caravan again.

My sister and I took our three "almost teenage" boys here for the week. On arrival there was a lovely hamper with sweets, cakes and wine in. There was also some basic provisions which kicked off our holiday. Something for everyone!

The boys loved the space where they could go and play football. Grandad even squeezed in a visit to take them fishing in the lakes and to play pool in the clubhouse. It felt a really safe site for our youngsters. Stuart stuck his head around to check all was ok too.

A really relaxing holiday which has no doubt created lots of memories for our boys and us alike.

It was really pleasant to see a family re union plus visits from your friends to Overstone also. As you say, it is a very safe sight for children and it was good to see them out and about playing football etc and enjoying their time also. They would love the swimming pool when it opens from mid May to mid September should you ever want to re visit of which I,m sure you will and for anybody wanting some swimming tuition my daughter Shelby would love to help out as she swims for Northamptonshire. On a last note I would like to thank you for how clean that you left the mobile.
We hope to see you all again soon.
