Went to restaurant for dinner with a friend especially for Bang-Bang shrimp appetizer which was fantastic! The main courses were both fish dishes that were also excellent.
The problem we had was with drinks. We ordered 2 watermelon martinis. They were tasty but had very little per glass. To start the glass was only 2/3 filled and there was a GIANT skewer of frozen watermelon in the glass. Once I pulled out the fruit stick, the glass was then 1/3 full & 3 sips later it was gone for $8.5 each!! We didn't complain but ordered different martinis for our 2nd drinks.
Later the manager came by in a general way to ask about how we were doing, asking several tables. I decided to tell him about our 1st drinks. He immediately claimed that there are 2 oz of liquor in every martini as standard practice & implying that we were mistaken. We explained about the garnish being the potential problem & he insisted that made no difference. (Our 2nd martinis did not have the garnish & our same size glasses were practically full.) To apologize he offered a complimentary drink to us. ONE dessert (espresso) martini was delivered to our table. He would have been better off bringing none or not offering at all!!
I'm hoping that because it is a fairly new location recently opened, they are still working out the kinks. Will probably give them one more chance because the food c was good, but will not waste money trying to order an expensive, insufficient cocktail again! Also hope that management training school might offer their staff a refresher course!
