“Clean and comfy”
Reviewed 12 December 2013

All we expected of a Best Western. Rooms were large and comforable, as was the king size bed. All clean, will return again. Was too tired to pay more attention as we had a long day before getting there.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have had no issues. It is a good place to stay at a reasonable price. Staff is always helpful and courteous.Breakfast in morning has a waffle maker, apple&oj,coffee and all the other normal items.

Staying the night in area to visit Duck Commander next day. Was getting late. Tired. Just wanted to get a room. Didn't do enough research. Chose this hotel and location bc it was a little cheaper than other Best Western in West Monroe. Big mistake. Not worth the money, even though I got a AAA discount. At least A.C. in room worked. Other than that, beds weren't comfortable. Room seemed to have an old smell to it, couldn't figure it out- could be smoke. We were in a NON-smoking room. Chipped paint etc peeling off in bathroom. Fingerprints and smudges on everything- mirror, t.v. top of dresser drawers etc. It was odd- like a stickiness on everything. Breakfast in a.m. was just like all of the other hotels. After looking at all of the reviews I should have stayed elsewhere in the area and gone with much cheaper. Just upset it wasn't worth what I paid. Live and learn.

Room Tip: Before you pay, ask to look at a room first.

Nice enough that we stayed an extra day. The "no charge" laundry was an unexpected bonus. Lobby, decor and breakfast aera was uncrowded and easy to get what you needed. I would have liked to have more "unflavored" oatmeal but the grits worked for a change of pace. Thanks

Just passing through, booked the room on my iPhone. We were pleasantly surprised. Comfortable bed, roomy area around and large bathroom. It was clean smelled fresh. The in-room coffee was icky and breakfast wasn't the best but good none the less. Definitely worth the price.

The internet service is nothing.. The red headed woman who greeted us was terrible. She has no skills and tried to tell us she was a general manager. Of what I would ask!! The beds were not comfortable and out dated.. The only person who was worth her salt was a very tall young lady who actually helped us get more towels for the pool and I was shocked to see her the next morning when the breakfast room was opened up. By far poor management. Also the cleaning staff did more talking on cell phones then they did cleaning. The kicker was the third night when the I tried to get towels and was told they did not have any. That old woman was too busy going outside smoking to get them.

Room Tip: Do not choose one of these..

Nice location right next to Sams Club and a Kangaroo Gas Station. I had a Penske truck and was able to park in the back and area is very quiet had no issues with the room. I would recommend to anybody not bad at all.
