Ate there last night with a colleague. The food was uniformly excellent, except for a pedestrian salad bar. i had the seafood gumbo and the fried catfish and both were outstanding. My colleague had the combination seafood platter and he enjoyed it very much. Chef Patout came and talked to us about the food - a nice touch, and the service was very good - the place was almost empty on an early Thursday evening in January, so this may be one reason for the good attention.

My husband and I have had seafood at a Landrys in Texas and we were very surprised to find one on our trip home to Florida. This Landrys was hands above the best Landrys we have had seafood at. The food was great. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our time spent there was enjoyable. We were having a problem with driving directions and these folks were wonderful in helping us get back to our hotel. The seafood was better than any I have had in Florida. They have a wonderful art gallery just off the restaurant with unique items for purchase showcasing, La. We will make Landrys in New Iberia, La. our place to stop when we take a trip back to Texas.

We have eaten twice at this Landry's while in the area. Both times, we had a large group with reservations. They have two good sized party rooms, and they seem to know how to handle large groups. We had the same server both times, and she was magnificent. She pretty much handled a group of 25 all by herself and everything was spot on. Of course, there is the staff in the background you don't always see, but our server was nothing but gracious Southern Hospitality. The food was hot and delicious, and she even went out of her way to make an Alligator Salad for one of our guys, which is technically not on the menu. Nice Salad Bar and do not forget.....their pistolet bread rolls are out of this world!

My wife and I travel often between Florida and Texas. Landry's is in the perfect spot for a lunchtime break and a chance to relax and indulge for a little while. The service is always excellent and the food is remarkable. There daily chef's specials offer a chance to explore different flavors and their fish is always cooked to perfection. We go back again and again.

We were very happy with our decision to eat here. Food and service were both very good. I had crab cakes which I would highly recommend.
