“Good tour”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Awesome tour guide. Answered all questions and told the stories about the house very well. Didn't see any ghosts but the history of the house is interesting. The grounds are also beautiful and picturesque.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

It's a lovely old home. We did the 7 PM mystery tour, which apparently was overbooked since the lady conducting it said if you are uncomfortable with the size of the tour you may get a refund, and they do not give refunds normally.

Since it is a bed and breakfast, you were only allowed in 6 rooms, and it took a hour to do that since all you are doing is listening to ghost stories. There is access to the grounds. I was totally bored and disappointed, but the teenage girls were super excited and loved it. The lady that did the tour was excellent.

it would probably be more fun to stay as a guest of the B&B, maybe more access that way.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Myrtles. The best part was the 8pm Mystery Tour with Tour Guide "Jules". He was an amazing dramatic guy that kept my attention and spooked me the whole tour. GREAT JOB JULES!!

“Ripoff”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

The ghost tour is $10 pp, lasts about 30 minutes, and goes through 5 first floor rooms in the mansion. No tour of the 2nd floor and no photography except in the entrance hall. Save your money.
