Stepping into the front of Cromwell was like stepping back in time. The original structure remains and you can sit by the fire with a drink. The modern seating area is a nice contemporary update. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We went with a large group and were able to try various appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Definitely try the House Tasting Platter so you get a little bit of everything. I was served a nicely portion pork belly and for dessert we tried the vanilla and peach creme brulee. Overall it was a nice experience, though the scallops and mashed potatoes could use some work.
