I have always lived around this pub but never been in. What a warm welcoming we received! Gina is a very friendly helpful lady. Nothing is to much, eat what you like and make your own meals. The cook... amazing! Proper pub grub! Definitely making this pub my local!

A happy and welcoming pub with great food... I had the sausage, liver and black pudding in a thick onion gravy, and my partner loved the salmon with new potatoes... Even better with a good pint of real ale... No room for a pudding though.. maybe next time. x

Brewers Arms is easy to find but there is limited parking around the back but ample parking along the street. I am often juvious upon entering small village pubs as I have often experienced locals to be quite intimidating. This was not the case at the Brewers Arms and I felt the atmosphere to be warm and welcoming. It was quiet upon our arrival and I could see the tables set for tea and some reserved. The member of bar staff was friendly and quickly showed us to our table and offered us a menu whilst pointing out the 'Specials Board' . . The menu was minimum but plentiful and I still struggled to choose due to the lovely selection which included fish, home made pie, vegetarian, steaks and chicken. I had noticed the portion sizes being served to other tables whilst sat having our drinks and they looked to be of good portion. I chose the chicken with cheese, bacon and bbq sauce which came with homemade chips, salad, homemade coleslaw and a extra portion of bbq sauce. My meal was so satisfying and fulfilling that I had no room for pudding and there's always room for pudding but not this time! The selection of desserts varied and had the traditional puddings available. My friend and I got chatty with a local couple sat beside us who confirmed that portion sizes are always the same and if your meal wasn't manageable then the staff will pack it up for you to take home. I would definitely recommend a visit to this pub with family members and friends of all ages because you will be offered a warm welcome. See you soon

Visited for lunch. Ordered the homemade lasagne and a steak.
Both meals came quick and WOW plates totally full. Home made and cooked chips were great as was the home made stilton and mushroom sauce.
The lasagne was thick and full of meat.
Both meals were more than filling and perfectly cooked.
There was a real coal fire on the go which was warm and comforting.
I would deffinatley visit again. Possibly some of the best pub food that we have had for a long while.
