Boys loved the trip and given the opportunity to look at the city from the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. The captain was very patient to explain the surroundings and the machines in the captain's office.

Two choices, 1.5 hours goes up to inchcolm island and under the bridges and back to the Ferry. Or do the stop off at the island, fun for the kids, then get the next boat. That's 3 hours. Free cream tea if you are on the last journey of the day. Wrap up well if you plan to sit outside! Probably see seal lions. Puffins more April may time. Definitely worth it if you have time.

We stumbled across this on tripadvisor when looking what to do whilst in Edinburgh on a cold wet day. I’m glad we did because we had a great day. We went on the 1pm sailing so we got complimentary cream tea which was lovely whilst taking in the views. The weather was great so we had clear views for miles. Had the pleasure of seeing some gorgeous grey seals. The boat pulled right up to the small island so passengers could have a good look and get some good pictures which was nice of him. The commentary was great and some interesting facts were told! I’d definitely come back if we were ever in Edinburgh again. Thanks for a great sail!

A cool but calm day. Not as many grey seals spotted this time but the boat made the most of them by all but stopping next to them. Plenty of seating. After Inchcolm Island got great views under the three bridges - Queensferry bridge now open. Good commentary.
