“Day trip to Edinburgh”
Reviewed 14 April 2012

decided on staying the night after a day trip to Edinburgh so booked into the Premier Inn, South Queensferry w/ breakfast and Groupon voucher for Dinner at The Two Bridges restaurant. PI was great, good value for money and bus trip into town very straight forward. Two Bridges was very disappointing - very average pub grub in what should have been quite a fancy affair. Staff were great in both places but glad we didn't fork out good money for dinner. Kids had a ball at the National Museum (which is free) while it rained and then onto the castle (free to Historic Scotland members) when the sun came out. Kids now know their capital city!

Room Tip: book online and in advance for best price

This was a very friendly place to stay. The rooms were spotless and bathrooms were gleaming. A very quiet place to stay and comfy beds. The breakfast was excellent value. All the staff were very friendly. You can catch the bus to Edinburgh from outside the hotel and only cost £10 for 2 adults and child return .

Stayed here for 2 nights, fantastic value for money, spotlessly clean room - esp bathroom that was immaculate. Good sized family room and comfy beds. Very quiet, even though situated on busy road junction, not traffic noise at all. Highly recommend

This is an excellent hotel for the business traveller, I have used it before, and will use it again. Just what a Premier Inn should be, good value, comfortable, excellent customer service.

Room Tip: 1st floor is hand for going down straight to Brewers Fayre restaurant. (room 24)

Top class premier inn. Although a distance from the centre, there is a train station a few minutes drive from the hotel, from there you can get the train directly into Waverley. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Advantage of free parking at the hotel which saves a fortune compared to city centre hotels.

Recently stayed at the Premier Inn at Queensferry near Edinburgh. Very helpful and friendly staff allowed us to have a very comfortable stay. We arrived at 08:30 due to an early flight and after enjoying a good breakfast the staff arranged for us to check in early enabling us to get ready for a wedding we wre attending. Brilliant service levels from very very helpful staff and would recommend to anybody wishing to stay at Edinburgh.
