We got a sea view! I love this hotel it’s really good. Free WiFi, good value rooms and the smell of McDonald’s was great. The shower was nice and the beds were so cosy. The room it self was extremely but cosy and did the job. If you come I hope you get a sea views.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel way too hot 🥵 plus the quilt on bed is more for winter especially as the room temp was 23.5C. Clean and tidy but could do with up dating. The bed was way too soft & not good for bad backs or hips. The Brewers Fayre was right night door about 14 ft away. Food was pleasant & ok priced. Again very friendly staff who were trying to cope doing many different jobs due to staff missing due to Covid checking in app. Well done guys and thank you.

We stayed here as part of a tour around Scotland with our six and four year old. The car park was pretty full on arrival, but we still managed to find a space. Check in was easy and straightforward. The location was brilliant - really easy to find and not too far from Edinburgh. Really good too as it's just off the motorway. There's a McDs, Brewers Fayre and petrol station with an M&S food next door too for anything you may need.

The only real issue we had was that the room was so, so stuffy and warm. Uncomfortably so. They had a fan/mobile AC unit in the room, but it really just circulated the hot air around. We didn't even stay during the heatwave, it was an average Summer day. I am aware that normally this probably wouldn't be a problem in Scotland, but it would definitely put me off staying again in the Summer months. Looked liked there was AC in the room but it definitely didn't work for us no matter what we tried. Even sleeping with the windows open didn't help. Such a shame as everything else was okay.

The crew of my charity’s yacht stayed here, cost us £1,000 and had the worse stay ever. Poor service and DISGUSTING breakfast plus very unhelpful and unfriendly staff who did nothing but make us so unwelcome

Perfect location. Plenty of parking and if spaces run out you can use the McDonald's carpark too as it is all one big carpark, just remember to tap in your car registration on arrival. Do go and see the sun set at the three bridges as it is only about five minutes away. Blackness castle is about 15 minutes away and is a wonderful place to visit. Boat trips can be booked on line and leave from Hawes Harbour.
Fast food outlet 5 min from Harbour called Chilli Waves, we got a pizza and fries and ate them watching the sun set at Queens ferry Harbour.
Staff are friendly and helpful at this hotel.
It was very quiet outside during our three night stay.
