Stayed here for a friends wedding, rooms very stylish & clean, though bathroom was very small. Staff very friendly, a really nice hotel & beautiful setting. You must try the cocktails, a young man behind the bar makes the best cocktail ever !!. Breakfast was a big let down, waited for a hour to get our food & it was over cooked. Hard fried egg, dry black pudding & haggis & the restaurant was nearly empty....why the wait?? Overall a nice couple of days but i wouldn't rush back.

Had a fantastic romantic meal here with my boyfriend recently. We were seated next to the window and enjoyed beautiful views of the bridges during our dinner. Seafood starter and sirloin steak were delicious..first time eating oysters and so glad I tried them! My boyfriend had the lobster main and both were thoroughly enjoyed. Orocco pier is a very nice place to come for dinner. The location, ambiance, food and service are all well worth the visit.

I can not begin to describe how much we loved this venue.
We chose it for our wedding due to the outstanding views, the good location (close to airport) and the friendliness of the staff upon our first viewing, however from that moment on, the wedding co-ordinators exceeded our expectations. They really were amazing, throughout the whole planning process, on the day, and afterwards. Nothing was too much trouble, and we are so grateful for everything they did.
Every one of our guests commented on the gorgeous location, the incredible food, and the lovely staff.
The rooms were also immaculate, beds very compfy, and breakfast was very good as well.
We will absolutely be back here for dinner and to stay, and we will be recommending it to everyone!

Have eaten here a few times before with same group of friends. Today we decided for a change to met for an early bite to eat. We had booked well in advance and were lucky enough to get a bay window with beautiful views of the bridges.
We all ordered a full scottish breakfast but when it arrived we were kind of disappointed, for £8.95 we got 1 each of sausage, bacon, black pudding, potato scone, haggis, tiny portions of beans, scrambled egg and mushrooms, there was tomato also on the menu, but for some reason none of us got any, it did include juice and toast. Oh and a few small pieces of potatoes which were sautéed. Normally I can't finish a full breakfast but it didn't satisfy any of us. With a cappuccino it worked out about £12 per head, I think that's quite expensive for breakfast.
We were also disappointed that we had to ask for clean side plates, no sauces were offered for the table either.
The good points are that it's a lovely restaurant and I have enjoyed each time when I've visited, but from today's experience I would recommend breakfast. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Shame it could have been better, maybe it was an off day, but I've eaten better breakfasts from help your self breakfast buffets.
Oh and to top it off I got stung by a wasp in the restaurant!

Room Tip: Only ate in restaurant, didn't stay

Really good location. Super room, our second stay here, each time was a very good experience. Good food in the restaurant with friendly service. The chef was late for the morning breakfast service however, the staff present still managed to cover in a satisfactory way, full marks to them. Just a few minutes to the airport if you need to catch an early flight. We will be back :-)

Orocco pier exceeded our expectations in every way. Friendly and experienced wedding coordinators who advised us well prior to the wedding and were unobtrusive yet delightful during our wedding day. Every request was met or exceeded from early checkin to last minute printing of speeches! Our guests were raving about the spectacular view, delicious food and attentive staff - they loved the little touches such as the personalised fish and chip papers. The rooms were immaculate and modern. I wish we could do it all again! Thank you Orocco Pier!

Just home from orocco pier, waited ages to be seated, waiter wiped our table with a dirty smelly cloth, it was unbelievably dirty! Food all over the floor under out table, waited half an hour on food order being taken, food ok, but nothing special...really sorry but won't be back I'm afraid! Toilet bowls in ladies toilet haven't seen bleach in weeks! This place obviously relies on tourists! We definitely will not be back!
