Flat is very well-equipped with a large kitchen and dining area, we had a group of 6 staying and there was plenty of space. Liked all the extra touches - books, games etc. It's a listed building so the bath tap arrangement eccentric but worked! It's up a lot of stairs so may be a bit tricky for people with mobility issues.

We arrived to meet up with owner who couldn't have been more helpful.

Enjoyed our stay. Easy to catch train to Edinburgh for a day. Had a late meal up the road after our day in Edinburgh.

Hope to return to see the Three Bridges!

Fantastic modern apartment in an excellent location for visitor attractions or just a quiet relaxing stay. Carole (owner) has thought of everything, especially those things you forgot to pack. Really comfy beds, we all slept so well. Central heating and a lovely log fire, suitable for an all year round stay. Kitchen had everything you need and the dining area was so family orientated. Carole was so friendly and even let us book out a bit later on the day we left. Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended.

I stayed here with my partner to celebrate our anniversary/his birthday, and we had a wonderful time. The apartment has a beautiful kitchen, so it's a joy to cook in, and the main bedroom is exceptionally comfortable. The log fire in the living room is a particularly nice touch too (perfect for when you're reading on the sofa). As a bonus, Carole came to collect us from the train station and gave us a ride home as well. She was lovely to chat to, and pointed out all the local amenities we'd need.

We spent five days at Crawsteps in the beginning of October with our two sons (4 and 11 years old), and we had an absolutely wonderful time! The flat by far surpassed our expectations, being very spacious, beautifully furnished and feeling very much like home! The views from all windows are just gorgeous, with the famous bridges and lovely Queensferry High Street on the one side, and a very old church on the other. The secret of the place was, that one felt at once like a very privileged tourist - looking at a world famous bridge from our living room window - and like an old inhabitant who belonged there, sharing the house and the stairwell with normal Queensferry people. Carole was a warm and wonderful host, who smilingly put up with our very late arrival (our plane was delayed, and we arrived in the flat at 20 minutes past midnight!) and gave us many valuable tips for our stay. All in all it was probably the most perfect holiday rental we ever had. We are now back in Germany, and whenever life is getting too stressful, we dream ourselves back into Queensferry and Crawsteps, and all feels well again. Thankyou!!!

Good directions for parking and location which were both very central. Spacious, airy and very well equipped accommodation with good views. Favourite room was the large kitchen/diner, very light and airy. Will definitely return when we next visit Edinburgh.
