“Holiday Inn- what can I say”

This hotel was just o.k. - quiet, room was clean and looked like they just did upgrades.
Not really close to anything- had to get on the interstate to get anywhere/restaurants, etc. We would stay in another location if we went back to Bangor. They didn't have a free continental breakfast but did have a restaurant.

This hotel is located in a quiet area in Bangor with close proximity to the interstate. It is an older property that could use some sprucing up. Our room although comfortable, retained the smell of smoke, and as ex-smokers we persevered with the odor while some non-smokers might have felt offended and requested another room. The hotel was busy that night as Reba McIntyre was in town and there was a wedding at the hotel with rowdy guests cavorting in the hallways which woke me up several times during the night. I will chalk this experience up to the hotel having an off night, as this is usually not the case with Holiday Inn’s and that is one of the reason this chain is my first choice when travelling.

We stayed here on our way home from New Hampshire, the rooms were very nice and clean. They had just upgraded, you could tell bathrooms were clean beds were comfortable and lots of pillows. They give our baby a crib to sleep in not a pak-and-play.That ment alot. They had a fridge microwave, they had games on the tv to play, you could buy movies if you wanted to.Staff was really help full.We will be back.We stay at a resort in north conway that wasn't as nice as this place.

Room Tip: 3rd floor rooms were excellent

This is a very nice Holiday Inn. It is modern and very clean. It has a beautiful pool. The service was great. I needed eye drops, because of the pool's chlorine, and the lady at the desk gladly gave us a pint bottle of eye wash. The room was nice too. The price was a little steep, but it was worth it. A perfect location for people going on a flight from Bangor. Also, a great restaurant in the hotel.

This hotel was clean and comfortable with helpfull and friendly staff. Yes the hotel is undergoing renovation, but this did not affect our stay whatsoever. If I had not read that they were under renovation, I would never have known. The room was very modern and clean. The pool area was very nice with a hot tub. They have a fitness center in the building and also provide free admission to the gym next door.

Stayed here one night while on a New England and Canada tour with family (wife and sons 11 & 8) before heading to Acadia National Park. This appears to be a relatively old Holiday Inn - decent sized rooms. The property is undergoing renovations, which should help. Everything in the room was clean and in good working order. If you can get a good rate and need a reliable place to stay, this will work, especially if you are trying to earn or use Priority Club points. Didn't use the indoor pool, but water was pretty cold. Didn't eat at the restaurant, so can't comment on it. There is a Dunkin Donuts right next door in case that interests you.
