We were here for two nights while attending an event at the Cross Center. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel is only about 5 minutes from the Center. The front desk staff were pleasant and, when a discrepancy was noticed on our bill, were quick to correct it. The bed (king size) was comfortable and there were plenty of clean pillows. A big plus is a window that actually opens! Should we find ourselves in Bangor again, this will be our first choice.

We stayed for 2 nights during a March Break shopping trip and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is next to I-95, but our room faced the central courtyard and was very quiet. The property is large, but is easy to navigate and has plenty of well-lit parking. Our room was spacious and very clean. Properties in Bangor tend to be more expensive than you'd expect, but the price here was reasonable, especially given the condition of other options. This hotel is also pet friendly. We'll be back!

We stayed here a couple nights with kids for a shopping trip. A few miles from the mall and most of the shopping as you have to go back out on the highway, but still only a few minutes. Rooms were nice, typical hotel room, fridge and microwave were nice though. Pool is a bit dated and hot tub wasn't working when we were there. Probably wouldn't pay full price for it, as we booked it on hotwire for around $75 a night. There is no continental breakfast, but kids do eat free with a paying adult. Great location for people that are flying from Bangor as it is close to airport. Airplane noise wasn't really an issue though. Hotel has a bit of a confusing layout, but otherwise not a bad hotel if you can get it for a good price.

Dear Kris,
Thank you for choosing our hotel and taking the time to share in such detail. I am sorry that the hot tub was offline during your stay. We have restored it and it is working great now. I hope you will choose to visit us again and have the opportunity to enjoy it. Again, thank you so much.

Have stayed in other places in Bangor but this one was a nice surprise. The room was nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Heating unit was loud but could be shut down while still staying comfortable. Breakfast buffet was well stocked but a bit of disappointment as ordering off the menu was better and the dinner we ordered was great. Lobster club and rolls - 2 thumbs up. Pool area was okay but the water collecting on the sides made it a bit slippery. Lounge/restaurant area was welcoming. Drinks of all types were available, food was good and the prices were okay. Great deal through booking.com to include breakfast. The very convenient location made visiting easy.

The Hotel itself was in a good location, very close to I-95. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hallways leading to the rooms, were a bit shabby, and not vacuumed, but the room itself was very nice, very clean, and very roomy. The Wii-Fii was perfect. The heating system was very loud and kept kicking on and off all night long, so this led to a pretty sleepless night. We did not get a chance to try the pool or the gym, or the restaurant. The bathrooms did not have a make-up mirror but were otherwise well-equipped.

Room Tip: The king bed rooms were nice and roomy ,although it seemed like a vey loud heating system.

I have stayed in Bangor many, many times, and this is one of the nicer places to stay at. I stayed here while heading back home from Portland. I stayed here once before while heading home from NY a few years back and they were going under renovations.

Kid at the front desk looked no older than 12, but he was very friendly and I saw him many times in the hallways, meeting other guests needs. The hotel layout is a bit confusing as there are a lot of different hallways, but if you go through your designated door each time, you probably won't get too lost.

The room was clean, with some older pieces to it. Some parts of this hotel were definitely not updated in the reno, including the massive air conditioning unit and the toilet with a very large tank, but that was no concern as everything worked fine. The beds were comfy and the bathroom had Bath and Body Works toiletries; a nice touch.

Though there is no free breakfast at the hotel, there is a restaurant attached, Dunkin Doughnuts right next door and lots of snack options in the vending machines!

The pool looked nice, but there was really no chance to use it with the amount of young kids staying at the hotel at that time. That also created a lot of noise with kids running through the halls to the pool. The rooms definitely lack sound proof ness, but it was mostly just in the early evening and wasn't to awful. It's what you have to expect when you go away.

This is a very nice location in Bangor, not far from malls and shopping. I never know where I'll end up in Bangor, so who knows, I might be back!

Had a 7 a.m. procedure at local hospital requiring a nearby overnight stay. The front desk person allowed us entry to the room early so that my husband could wait more comfortably than at the hospital. When we entered the room at dusk, we could see soft lighting in the treed atrium out the wide windows. Heating unit was quiet and didn't blow huge gusts of air as we'd experienced in some other hotels. Our king-sized mattress and excellent pillows were heavenly. It was very quiet. We ordered room service breakfast the following morning & that was good...delivered promptly. After having the medical procedure, it was a pleasure to stay in such comfortable surroundings.

Room Tip: We ask for a quiet section of the hotel away from the elevators and/or reception area.
