This is obviously an original Holiday Inn from years ago, very large building. I heard one of the desk clerks telling another guest that they have over 400 rooms, although I did not confirm, I would guess that is true. It is huge, and had what every Holiday Inn build back in the 60's had, large swimming pool, full service bar and restaurant, snacks, small gym, maybe even a laundry service somewhere here. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and although not modern by any means, it is quiet and comfortable. It is, as I rated, very good. Very close to the airport too.

Room tip: Rooms on the ground floor and towards the back parking lot are the most quiet.

Thank you for your kind words. Indeed, we are old school here, but in a very progressive way! :) Our owner is forward thinking and our property is always fresh and neat. Thanks for sharing!

Our flight arrived in Bangor late evening. Decided to go straight to the hotel and wait til next morning to pick up a rental car. Called the hotel and shuttle driver picked us up for the short trip to the hotel. Public spaces were clean, bright, modern. Staff very helpful & courteous. Room was extremely clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Next morning, shuttle driver took us back to the airport to pick up our rental. But knowing we were not in a hurry, he offered a short tour of Stephen King highlights to us- his house, his son's house, all of the public works he contributed to the town- baseball field & stadium, water park & swimming pool, new library roof, etc.
would definitely recommend this reasonably priced hotel . One note- breakfast is not included, but you can grab something quick at any of the fast food places near the hotel or airport.

As far as I can tell, the only hotel in Bangor with airport shuttle service and an on-location restaurant. Older “motel” well renovated, nicely furnished, and with amenities such as fridges and microwaves. But, bedding is old: sheets thin, not crisp, pillows small and flat, covers similarly “old”. ACs in the two rooms I stayed in were noisy. The restaurant is an often noisy, sometimes cigarette smoky, sports bar. I’d rate the Inn as very good—except for the bed linens and restaurant. If I stay in Bangor again, I will stay elsewhere.

I am guessing this hotel building was converted from something else because the layout is very strange. The hallways are quite rundown, but we stayed in two different rooms at the start and end of our trip and both were clean and well kept. We booked breakfast one our nights because it was very cheap added to booking. It was a sit down order breakfast. There were many options and it was a good, very large breakfast. They forgot to give us vouchers for breakfast when we checked in, bit gave them to us in the morning with no hassle.

We used their shuttle one visit and would not recommend. The driver was very strange, kept talking when we were trying to leave and spoke very rudely about the locals.

By far the best Holiday Inn I've stayed in. The lobby looks like it was recently updated. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. There is a nice pub and restaurant on site as well as a gym and pool. We ordered room service. The food was OK at best and definitly overpriced, but it was convenient and that's what we needed. Our 2 labs were welcomed and loved having a queen size bed all to them selves. There was plenty of space in the room for our pack and play and everyone slept comfortably. The room could use some cosmetic updates, but if you're simply in need of a good place to stay for a night that accommodates the entire family, this is a good deal.
