“Relaxing at The Inn at Bath”

This was the first B&B I stayed at during my recent vacation in New England. Elizabeth was there to meet us even though we arrived late. She showed us our beautiful, clean large room (The Garden Room) with its large bathroom, fireplace and comfortable bed. Elizabeth and her staff were very friendly and helpful with what shops to visit in the area. A wonderful breakfast was served in the morning in the dining room. It was great to visit with other guests to discuss their vacation, home, etc. It is always great to be able to interact with other guests. A large bowl full of apples was available for the guest to eat whenever they wanted a snack. I would recommend this inn to anyone that was staying in Maine. Elizabeth - keep up the great job being an inn keeper!

We recently spent five nights at this wonderful Inn .The location is great .It's just a short walk to interesting individual shops, great eating places and the waterfront .
Elizabeth the Innkeeper is warm, friendly and has a great sense of humour .There is a casual relalxed atmosphere at the Inn ,which is furnished beautifully .We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts cooked by Elizabeth ,served at a communal table where we met the other guests and had great fun .
There are great beaches nearby ,the interesting Maine Maritime Museum from which you can take a lighthouse trip on the Kennebec river and the Ironworks tour .
The thing we shall remember most about our stay here was the fun we had and the kindness shown to us .Elizabeth has appointed wonderful staff to help her look after the guests and all in all it was a great experience .

Stayed for 2 fabulous nights at this wonderful B&B. Modern conveniences, but with the feel of old New England. Elizabeth is a wonderful innkeeper.....couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We stayed in the Green room.....it was unseasonably hot for early August, but our room was AC, so no problems! Had a magnificent breakfast each morning.
2 thumbs plus 2 toes up!

I have been living on the west coast for 12 years now and this was my first trip back to New England and I could not have chosen a better Inn to stay at. While my trip was bringing two major clients fishing in Maine it was also treating them to a real New England Inn and Elizabeth delivers!

My room was the "Green Room" and it could not have been better, clean, extremely comfortable although I hated getting up every morning at 430am to fish !

I travel in excess of 100K a year and it's rare that a hotel catches my attention and makes me really want to return, and Yes I will!

You HAVE to ask Elizabeth to make blueberry pancakes. To die for.

Room Tip: Green Room

We stopped at the Inn at Bath, making our way down the Maine Coast to Cape Cod. Elizabeth greeted us and we immediately felt at home.It is well situated and it's a short walk to the waterfront and restaurants. Breakfast at the Inn is very very good. We will be back

Our hostess, Elizabeth greeted us upon arrival, although we were early, our beautiful room was waiting for us. While not huge, The Green Room was certainly big enough and the bathroom was so large that you could have put another bed in it. The inn itself is not airconditioned, but the fans do the job of keeping things comfortable. The window A/C in the room did the job and was not too loud. Although it was 80+ outside during the day, we were able to open the windows at night a feel the pleasant Maine air. Our bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were plentiful. I would recommend this inn.

We checked into Inn at Bath on a warm day for Maine and at first I was disappointed because the downstairs was only cooled by fans and the fans were not doing the job. (Being from FL, we are used to walking into AC on warm days hence instand cooling.) However, our room was very spacious (we had the lavender room) and joy - a window AC unit which we turned on before we put our suitcases down. The room was clean and the bed was comfy even though a little sweaky because of it's vintage. The room had plenty of space for a loveseat, reading chair, vanity and chair (which I really appreciate because so few B&B's have that and fighting hubby for the bath mirrior can be tiresome), a dresser and two large end tables along with a king size bed. The room had a TV, DVD player and there were movies you could watch. Outside our door was a computer and printer so we could print our boarding passes for the nextg day. The breakfast was filling and the dining room was spacious and beautiful Elizabeth, the owner, works hard to keep such a vintage place in good condition. She seems like a very nice lady.
