My partner and I knew little about the Inn other than the reviews and while they were generally positive, it's always hard to read between the lines. Well, after spending a couple of days there we can't see how anyone could expect more than the Inn at Bath delivers, particularly at a very reasonable price. Our room, the Fo'c'sle, was roomy and clean, had a comfortable Queen bed, and had a huge jacuzzi tub and fireplace. There's even a quiet garden sitting area right outside. Elizabeth, the inkeeper, is a gem and had great recommendations on local restaurants (try Solo Bistro and Kenebec Tavern) as well as places to explore. She even arranged on our last morning for a blueberry pie we needed to take to friends in Boston. She also cooks a great breakfast (make sure she makes you blueberry pancakes). We'll be back.
