“Average food, not so good service.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

The food was average. Tried $14 bowl of lobster stew and it was basically a few chunks of lobster in milk. Certainly wouldn't have been enough for dinner. Ate a piece of fish, some fries and cole slaw from my husband's fish and chips plate ($15). Served warm bread rolls with butter which completed the otherwise skimpy meal. Asked for lager and the only one they serve is Bud light.

Service was scattered. Asked for rolls or crackers ASAP for car sick child in the group and they forgot until asked again. Also, a bit sarcastic on the answers. Seafood pasta was macaroni type noodle with a lobster claw whole, not cracked/cleaned. Grandson also asked for pasta (wanted spaghetti) with cheese only, no red sauce and was served mac and cheese.

Also door entrance to outdoor dining is trafficked with wait staff at the same time as guests arriving and leaving with immediate steps down. Not well managed.

“Relaxed riverside lunch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014

Yeah, okay, it's touristy, but not overly. We sat outside and watched marina activity. The food was what you would expect in a decent seafood restaurant.

“Great View and good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2014

We boat to the tavern alot and tie up at the dock which is great and convenient during the summer months. The view is great when you sit on the deck and I was surprised at the service this year. The waitress was very good! I think there are new waitstaff which is probably the reason why. She was really pleasant and patient and didn't rush us at any time. The Seafood Pasta was delicious but needed more seafood, however the sauce was excellent. The Sirloin and clam dinner special was good. The clams were cooked perfectly as well as the sirloin. The drinks are always good, especially the Bloody Marys!. It is a little expensive for the portions received, however, it was a very enjoyable dinner overall.

“Nice View Bad food”

Nice view of the river but the food was terrible. The crab cakes were falling apart and they were mushy. The steamers were too big and under cooked. When in Bath Me, eat someplace else.

“Deplorable … Perennial Disappointment”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

Service is slow, food is awful, prices are high.

Beware scallops are always undercooked.

Do yourself a favor, save you money and try one to the area’s exceptional alternatives

Beale Street BBQ and Mae’s Café are awesome.
