“Second Visit, 5 Stars Again”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2011

This was our second visit, and we loved every minute. We came up for the annual Celtic Music Festival. The event is a short walk from the Inn. We weren't able to get the same room as last time, but it was a bit less expensive, and quite elegant. The rooms are very expensive, but we splurge here, and enjoy the luxury of the Inn. Breakfasts in the courtyard are fab, and Eddie and Judy are most pleasant. One of the best inns you will ever stay at.Beds are great, and so is the Bose wave radio.

This is a small inn with absolutely lovely large suites. The owners spared no expense in furnishing them and you feel you are staying in a beautiful home not a hotel. The breakfast on the patio was wonderful too. We highly Recommend this inn.

This is simply the place to stay! We stayed here for 6 days and explored Camden, Bar Harbor, and everywhere in between! Everything about the Inn is warm, welcoming, and luxurious. Judy and Eddie will be your new best friends! Loved it and had a blast!

Room Tip: You can't get a bad room, but 301 was my favorite!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reminded me of a European boutique hotel. My 20 year old son proclaimed the towels to smell like home. The town of Belfast was lovely also, not overly touristy and everything was within walking distance from the hotel. Eddie and Judy (Innkeepers) were very accommodating.

My husband and I just returned from a two-night stay at this property. Our accomodations were extremely spacious--more like an apartment than a hotel suite--and furnished with thoughtful amenities, a comfortable bed, and even a well-stocked kitchen. The owners, Judy and Ed, were incredibly gracious and helpful from the moment we checked in to the time we left. When we needed to leave early one morning before the scheduled breakfast time, they offered to bring us breakfast in the evening to keep in the fridge so we could heat it up and enjoy it on our own. It was healthy and delicious. The next day we were served breakfast at a private table in the charming courtyard with flowers in bloom. More like a small boutique hotel than a typical "B and B," the Belfast Bay Inn offers both personable service and privacy for its guests. If we return to this area in the future, we will definitely stay here again.

I am so happy we had a chance to stay at the Belfast Bay Inn!! It was so much more than we could have hoped for. Every thing about the Inn was special. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable & I am spoiled to have to stay at any regular hotel. The space is so quiet & luxurious, I didn't want to leave. But, the town is so diverse, we didn't have time to see it all. We plan to return. Thank You, Ed & Judy for a dream vacation!!

Room Tip: They are all beautiful & quiet.

There is simply no point of reference to this hotel. Judy and Ed will make you feel right at home in their exquisitely appointed pride jewel. The suites are not only super spacious but, very elegantly decorated with beautiful art on the walls, state of the art appliances, and classic fixtures. It's just hard to describe the amazing feeling that you get by staying in a hotel full of details such as memory foam California king beds, super soft linen, plush bath robes, Bose sound system, DVD player and big flat screen TV to name a few, oh! and breakfast served by the owners themselves.
If you are coming to Belfast, ME, just stop looking, because this is simply the best hotel in Maine, period!

Room Tip: The best way to find a room here is by calling.
